Exceptional service, especially Richard’s assistance with transportation. The American Bar provides a relaxed but sophisticated environment to wind down after a day of activities. I’ve stayed here many times, and it will always be my home in London.

I enjoyed my stay at the Stafford very much. I like the location and was able to walk around in Piccadilly, Mayfair and other areas easily. In fact, I walked back and forth to Oxford St. several times to shop and eat. The hotel food was quite good, and I enjoyed my daily breakfast. The best thing about the Stafford is their outstanding customer service. There is not anything they will not do for you. The staff is always friendly, courteous and very respectful. I believe their customer service is comparable or better to the finest hotels in London! If I could grade them I would give them an A+. ,

We love this hotel. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, the neighborhood is perfect - close to walk to Picadilly shopping but tucked away on a quiet street near the park so you get the best of both worlds. The rooms are lovely. I have stayed here multiple times and will return again.

I expected the hotel to be more glamerous for the high price. Furniture in the room was old and raggy. Shower was tiny. But the staff was wonderful and extremely helpful.

Lovely hotel! This was my second stay, just as wonderful as I remember. The staff is so welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are very comfortable. Traditional feel with modern amenities. The location is fabulous. Highly recommend.

No breakfast

Lovely and professional staff. Small but very comfortable rooms.

Elevator out of order for more than one week. No seats available for having a cocktail anywhere in the hotel without a reservation—or even to sit down. Overcharged at breakfast repeatedly. Indifferent staff. Restaurant food nothing remarkable but pretty expensive. Low frequency buzz in room at night.

Excellent staff, beautiful building and the room was wonderful. All decorated for Christmas made it magical.

Service

The Stafford is a marvelous hotel -- you feel as though you are in fine home that just happens to be set up for lots of company. The staff are marvelous -- first, highly competent, which is crucial, but on top of that genuinely welcoming and courteous without overdoing it. The American Bar was a real treat especially late-night after theater -- try the Amphora Negroni: a unique treatment of a classic.
