The hotel is old but nice. We asked for a quiet room. They saos it was, but that wasn't true. It was noisy all night and tgen we were awaken by construction in the morning.

Excellent location; staff were helpful & friendly; will definitely be staying there the next time in Madrid!

This was a great option for 3 of us. One large room with a very comfortable bed and a living room with a comfortable converted sofa bed. The bathroom was small but worked fine. The staff were all so nice and the room was very clean. The walls were thin and we had one neighbor who fought and was very loud. Staff did their best but keep that in mind. No real noise from the street. I would stay here again, for sure!

My family and I stayed for 3 nights here. This is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The only plus point is its location which is near to Sol Metro Station. Other than that, it is a long list of negatives: 1. Noisy air con - a loud rumbling sound appears whenever the air con speed is switched to "2" or "3". Sounded to the property manager who offered a room meant for 2, too small for my group of 3 adults. In the end, we could only leave the air con speed at "1" throughout our stay. 2. Noisy - contrary to info presented at booking, the rooms were not well sound-proof. I could hear clearly the conversation of people staying next to my room, past midnight. People at the restaurants next to the hotel continued to party till 4-5 am. It affected our sleep throughout our stay. 3. The water in the shower was too warm. When told, the property manager suggested that I did not know how to adjust the taps. It was until I insisted that the room attendant come to my room that they agreed it was the hotel's problem. After fixing it, the water pressure became too low. By then, I have given up asking them to fix the problem. 4. Extremely poor service - while the property managers on site were all polite, they couldn't resolve issues or did not do what they promised. The TV remained in non-working condition throughout our stay despite them promising to resolve. While some may think that the issues above are trivial, I think these are basic expectations for a hotel that charges up to

Very good size family room. Very good location for the old center as well as parks and museums.

I think the most unique and positive aspect of this hotel is the customer service from the staff at the reception desk. Everyone was so nice and helpful, but the person that went above and beyond to provide me with maps and directions, and recommendations for my visit to Madrid, was Alberto. Thank you for making this one of my best stays in Madrid, ever! I will stay here again and would 100% recommend to anyone considering staying here.

Great location very central, staff was great. The room spacious with a small kitchenette, microwave abd fridge. The only downside was a very very cramped bathroom and toilet.

Was somewhat hesitant to book this hotel despite the positive reviews. We still had out rental car and hoped to check in before bringing it back. this is not an option. this is a taxi/walk location so we brought it back and took a taxi there. close to bars, restaurants, metro and shops. front desk recommended we leave the key with them when we left which seemed strange but wasn't a hassle and had one less thing to carry around. in the end pleased with the hotel.

It was an easy walk from the parking lot. The area was safe and convenient. The room was HUGE and had beautiful windows. We loved it!

This hotel is in a great location - convenient to everything and surrounded by wonderful eateries. Our suite was comfortable, for the most part, but the couch was more like a bed with lots of pillows and not too good for just sitting. The kitchenette was adequate for breakfasts, which is all we needed, but there were no dish towels to dry the dishes. There was no place to eat except the couch (no table and chairs). The refrigerator did not have a freezer so I could not reference my ice packs. The windows were not soundproof at all, so the noise from the bars downstairs continued well into the early morning hours (like 4:00 AM!) The bed was comfy, the room was clean, the staff were so gracious and helpful. If we go back, I would bring earplugs.
