Stayed here a number of times. Don’t rely on the restaurant or bar being open. It is often closed. This time, because it was a bank holiday on the Tuesday, the restaurant was closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Not really what they advertise.

Had my laptop stolen from my bag when down for breakfast. My fault. Should have left it in the safe or locked my bag. Hotel said they would review the cctv and let me know. Didn't get back.

The property seemed run down. It’s in need of some love and updating. The staff/employees we encountered were all very nice which is so important. The cleanliness of the room was fine; the hallways smelled strongly of industrial cleaner (not a good smell). It’s right off of a major road, so it was very easy to get back on it. The beds (we booked a triple room) were the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in. When getting up both mornings of our stay we could barely walk (I’m in my 20’s, my mother is in her 60’s and we were both in an extreme amount of pain). It was raining when we arrived and there is no easy covered pull up spot to drop your bags. We had to carry them up 2 steps then walk along a smooth tile/marble 5 meter walkway get to the front door-extremely slippery in the rain (there was a ramp to the walkway but it’s out of the way when you’re trying to get out of the rain with luggage). All in all, it was fine, but I wouldn’t stay again.

Extremely underwhelming and overpriced hotel in the middle of nowhere. Very dull and worn hotel with absolutely nothing happening inside or around the area. Disappointing.

Very clean hotel at an affordable price. Staff was very welcoming and provided all the essential information.

The Mercure is listed as a 4 star hotel and as having airconditioning. Neither are true. They put us in a hot sunny room with no airconditioning at all working. My husband complained numerous times then asked for another room on the other side as there was no sun on that side of the hotel. The service was horrible here and no one wanted to speak english to us it was all french which we could not understand. The only plus was the gym and the sauna.

Great place, we slept there during a road trip. We arrived around midnight and the staff quickly checked us in - 24 hours check in was great. Rooms are clean and bed in comfy. Lots of parking.
