At first glance I thought the property was a little tired but it was very clean and comfortable, I slept really well and the excellent staff were a real highlight making check in and out a breeze. I also had dinner at the bar and the food was very good indeed. Perfect for a business trip and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here again. Hopefully next time I can arrive earlier and try the pool which looks great.

The staff were extremely helpful

We held an Eng Vs Norway watch party and the hotel were fantastic. The food, service and overnight accommodation was fantastic and I would highly recommend.

Decent

Nice hotel. Stayed one night with breakfast. Room was great. Breakfast was very nice. Staff were very pleasant. Only thing is that the hotel did not take cash, a minor nuisance.

The property aesthetically looked great it was clean and had great amenities. I had requested a quiet room prior to booking as I needed to get work done and specified that but on arriving I was booked into a room with a crying child and family. To move I had to upgrade and pay for it which is a bit unfair considering I’d requested this prior to attending. The staff member said they couldn’t help that. I think they could. The next room was lovely and quiet but there was an issue with the large bed (which are 2 beds connected to each other) one mattress was lower than the other so it was a bed of 2 halves. I’ve woken up with a bad back this morning.

Lovely breakfast

Clean room, rubbish shower. Bed comfy. The bar is an absolute joke though - you can’t pay by card after 12 at the bar but you can pay by card at reception to top up your room account? Then it all changes and you can pay at the bar by card because I’m staying there? Ridiculous

It was a clean pleasant hotel in an excellent location. I was disappointed that I didn’t have a window to look out of. It made the room dull. I also would have preferred a double bed rather than 2 singles pushed together. The restaurant was very good .

We were there before flying from Birmingham airport, very convenient. Pleased that they waived the parking fee, as we were leaving at 3am with no breakfast.
