Clean room, friendly staff, amazing food and facilities

We booked the spa day. The first treatment for 50mins was very good. There was a break then and our second treatment for 25mins was not worth turning up for. The lunch was served and had to be returned as the bread sandwich was stale and hard. The foccicia was cold and burnt

Recently redecorated, looks fabulous. Bar meal really nice. But don't count on getting sleep. Noisy bedroom doors banging and guests walking the corridors and chatting until possibly midnight, then fire doors banging with early risers making their escape from 5am onwards (possibly trying to wake up the revellers who kept the working ones awake all night!)

Check in was quick and efficient. The location of the room was about as far away from reception as you can get but everything was well sign posted. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The onyl issue I had was with the sink and bath plugs. The sink plug was wedged in so took some effort and several attempts to lift it. The bath plug was the same but I couldn't get it to work, so whilst showering the bath fills up. There have obviously been issues as the plugs are not standard and don't work off a mechanism liek you would expect. Very poor choice and really lets down the hotel. I had dinner (grilled salmon) and this was very good. The menu had quite a selection. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice to choose from. I also used the gym which was very well equiped woth modern equipment. Probably one of the best hotel gyms I've used. Not a bad hotel and will probably stay there again but will definitely check the sink and bath plugs as soon as I get in!

Asked for quiet room as I suffer with insomnia we were put above car park with laundry bins directly under being pulled about from 6 ish am

This is a very nice resort! I enjoyed the pool (too many kids and it needed some fresh air), some signage about guests not being welcome at the aerobics class might be good! The room was spacious. No fridge and no kettle was a bit of a shame, but the fan very helpful in the heat. Food and drink were lovely with very friendly staff.

Lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Pool/gym facilities were excellent and restaurant/bar was great!! Lovely staff. Our room was so far away from reception area….I went for a jog and started at the room and covered almost 500m before I reached the lobby! A guest laundry would have been most helpful.

Room was a little dated. Apart from that great place and 2 good golf courses.

We were travelling around Norfolk n wanted an hotel as a mid travel stop off. We couldn’t have found a better place. So much so we booked for our return trip. The hotel and the team from , reception to housekeeping to restaurant team were perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. I want specifically mention from the housekeeping team - Diana, Samintha and Hermique. Thank you again.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff were welcoming and polite. Everything seemed great although Sunday night is popular in the pool with kids so less relaxing and burger in the bar was dry and overdone with a burnt bun, edible but if I was less hungry would have sent it back.

Arrived about 10 minutes before 15:00 and was told that they were making guests wait until 15:00 to check in! Paid deposit on card to order food to room bill but when had the meal in the restaurant there was no record of this and the waiter went to reception to sort it out. When he came back there was still no record and I had to pay with credit card. When I checked out I mentioned this and the receptionist said they had forgotten to tick a box on the system but they would refund the £50 deposit onto my card which took several days to cancel. The room was clean comfortable and tidy and the housekeeping is to a high standard. The food in the restaurant was excellent but the dining was rushed - the starter arrived in about 3 minutes before the waiter had even got the wine, and only about 10 minutes after that the main course arrived so the meal was over in about half an hour. Ideal if you’re in a hurry but less so if you’re wanting a relaxing evening meal.

I would have scored 5 stars but catering for plant based diet was extremely poor everything else was excellent

A large property The hotel seems in the mist of a refurb with a lovely modern reception and dining area But other parts in need of some improvement We didn’t eat on site, but I would say mid range pricing , we did sit in the bar area which was nice and spacious with lots of golfers using and a conference when we were there we still found seats Rooms are well equipped with hairdryer, ironing and ironing board, safe, tea tray shower gel and hand soaps, plenty of towels A small seating area The rooms are a mix, old style tv and old furniture But our bathroom was more modern Bedding smelt really musty and damp, , we saw the laundry outside in the car park in large bins so assumed perhaps why I’d of loved a full size mirror , we just had a round mirror above the dressing table The reason for our stay we had a voucher for the spa, the spa was nice it had its own spa cafe for lunch and drinks You also had access to a relaxation room, gym, swimming pool jacuzzi steam room and sauna We would stay again if we were in the area
