Breakfast could have been better with more options like eggs and sausages and so on.

The staff were very friendly and helpful 🙂. Towels were my only concern. 1 had a yellow stain on it.

Khan at the front desk was so amazing! Extremely helpful and kind with everything I needed during my staff. The property is a bit outdated, but overall it’s a great stay for the price point. I would definitely stay here again 😊

We stayed 1 night at Econolodge Smiths Falls and can safely say we would not return. The positives, staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable but we did have to ask for extra pillows. The negatives, the hotel is in desperate need of renovation, peeling paint, cracked bathroom sink, enamel on bath cracked, no fan in the bathroom, carpet ridges and stained. The balconies were very dismal and had there been chairs to sit in you would not be able to see the view of the canal due to the concrete wall. A shame because this hotel has the potential to be so much more with its position right in the canal. The breakfast offered is very basic with just toast, pancakes, cereals, yoghurts … no fruit, eggs, bacon, etc. Smiths Falls does not have a lot to offer as a tourist place but served as a place to rest overnight.

This is an affordable hotel, conveniently located to local restaurants and points of interest. It is easy to find and located alongside the Rideau canal - very picturesque. The owner is very involved with check-in cleaning, breakfast, and was offering us coffee/tea at all times. The hotel is a little "tired", but the room and common areas were very neat and clean. This was a great affordable accommodation, in a handy location

Nice enough, you get what you pay for. The rooms are very tired, the chair in my room had a stain and what I assume was a very old cigarette burn. Ceiling was... interesting. Shower curtain rod was hanging on by a wish. Downstairs, mix and match tables and chairs for breakfast. During checkin (6pm ish on a Saturday), had to wait maybe 5 minutes for the solitary staff person to get back from whatever she was doing in the basement.

Had a great sleep and the staff were great. Only complaints; the shower wasn't quite hot enough, and there should have been some eggs available for breakfast.

Exterior front entrance was filthy and only partially shoveled, 1st impression was poor.

The building itself is in need of renovation but the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Very reasonable rate. Parking was sufficient and staff were attentive.
