Room was perfectly big for the 3 of us. Unfortunately the air conditioning was not working in the room and it was extremely hot! Food was great and the pool was lovely and very clean. I do think its a bit cheeky to ask for payment for parking in the hotel but overall great stay

Decent sized room (stayed in deluxe double) for 2 nights. Admittedly didn’t feel particularly deluxe as the furniture was old and it felt a little tired. Clean enough but could do with a refurb. Car charging onsite was handy and good location without being stuck in city centre.

Wonderful staff both on reception, the gym and at breakfast, couldn’t ask for more.

Hotel is clean but quite tired in places. Our room was quite worn (carpets, paint etc) plus with no air conditioning having the windows open meant a lot of noise from the extractor fans from the kitchen. This started quite early in the morning and until after we have gone to bed. For the offer price room and facilities were fine, using the pool and sauna a nice bonus but again a little tired looking. Food prices whist normally high in a hotel restaurant seemed stupidly costly for the offer available. We ended up eating elsewhere as there was football on which took over the whole bar area.

Don't except a room on the 3rd floor the heat is unbelievable and there is no air-conditioning just a fan that didnt make much difference. I found it over priced also.

Excellent breakfast…

Very old fashioned, the hotel is pet friendly but there are very few areas where you can walk the dog, missing dog waste bins - made very difficult, the pool was very tiny, overall not happy.

Staff were nice, polite and friendly, as always, which is a big reason we've stayed a few times now. Along with the leisure facilities, which are maintained well. Room was clean and had a fan,which was appreciated due to the very warm weather. We'll look forward to hopefully staying again next year.

Stayed at this hotel for four nights and the staff were outstanding. Everyone—from reception to the restaurant and bar—offered excellent customer service. They were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel’s location was also perfect for getting around York.

Solid, clean hotel and friendly staff. Jacuzzi didn’t work and pool was on the small side. I’d have expected robes in the room for the price too, but overall a decent place to stay.

Bar area and restaurant very nice and well maintained. Outdoor area could do with some new furniture and umbrellas- impossible to sit outside in the sun. Pool clean and well maintained as were sauna and steam room. Jacuzzi not working- changing rooms clean but a little dated. Rooms clean and nicely decorated bathrooms could do with a little updating. Air con not working. Excellent location for racecourse events and local Parkrun.

Nice hotel with a small health club. Staff friendly. Some rooms (our second stay there) need refreshing.

We couldn't have chosen a better hotel for our reunion after over 30 years of leaving school. A couple of us decided to celebrate ourselves and our longstanding friendship at York. All the staff of Delta Hotels were professional and very helpful.

The hotel was ok the spa was nice would say it was over priced for the room the bed was slightly bigger the matress was needing replaced it had no softness to it the tv was bigger there were glass tops on the table and the units in the room that had been cleaned on top but not under the glass so you could see all the dust under them but other then that no different then a premier inn nothing special the staff were very good and glad to help very polite and friendly it did have a btilliant view of the racecourse from the terrace of the room
