Amazing place to stay, moved into my top place I have ever stayed in (up from Many Glacier Hotel in Glacier National Park!). Highly recommend, beautiful property, service was exceptional, and it was wonderful after the influx of crowds left at night. We are going back and can’t wait!

We did not get the panoramic view room which we had paid for.it is very sad we should.have booked it directly then they said we could have.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Emerald Lake lodge! It was an absolutely wonderful stay! The property is gorgeous, breakfast buffet is very good and its in a great location!

Fabulous location on Emerald Lake and a comfortable room. Most personnel friendly and welcoming but unfortunately not the case with all. Sauna is a nice facility but needs a more efficient heater as takes ages to reach a decent temperature.

Stunning views, and very quiet

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The scenery was breathtaking, with stunning mountain views and the lake creating such a relaxing atmosphere. Perfect place to disconnect, unwind, and enjoy nature.

What an excellent experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and responsive, and very friendly. The offsite parking is a small challenge but the shuttles get you there fast. The views are wonderful and breathtaking. A small refrigerator in the room would be a nice future addition.

Amazing property, the lake really is Emerald colour. We ate in the lounge and in the main restaurant both were excellent quality. Most importantly we saw 3 bears during our 1 night visit.

Super old room. We paid about 1k for our one evening stay. The lake view we got had trees blocking it. They provided nice quality toiletries. Hot tub and sauna is pretty over crowded. NOTE: the staff did not pay too much attention to the luggage storage room. While most places (especially at this price tag) would offer a locked up room with room number tags to store your luggage - they simply moved our luggage in and didn’t even ask for our room number until we requested for a tag. When we were ready to pick up our items, they didn’t check our identity or anything , and asked us to help ourselves to our luggage. While this system works in a society of trust, it could mean an easy theft opportunity for certain individuals.

Ultimately disappointing stay. This was the place we was looking forward to most. However it was the most disappointing. We had an issue with the cleanliness of our room. General upkeep of the property isn’t great. Facilities such as WiFi are only available in main lodge and “health club” this led to overuse as it was only a small area so couldn’t use facilities. Issue with room not being cleaned as we found dirty underwear on the floor. Manager did move us room but had to downgrade us as we was previously in a suite. Wouldn’t deem it a suite - very dated, poorly maintained and lacked and special character. New room they placed us in was much better it was a signature room. Had lunch dinner and breakfast at the property. Lunch staff very helpful, dinner staff helpful but stretched. Breakfast was ok. Maintenance of the surrounding areas needs to be improved. I get that they are renovating rooms but for the price they’ve charged isn’t acceptable. Still waiting on our refund as we was downgraded.

Apart from the location I've not seen something wow! Room was pretty clean, bathroom as well with toiletries and clean towels. For the price paid I think a breakfast included will be fair.

It's definitely not the newest lodge, but that is what gives it character! Emerald Lake Lodge found a place in our hearts and we will return here every time we visit Banff/Jasper in the future. The staff was beyond helpful. We ask for soap and a new fire-starter while waiting for our tablet for dinner. One of the staff members grabbed them and started to hand them to me. With out missing a beat the manager stopped him and said they would have them delivered to our room and for us to just enjoy our dinner! Wow. Great service!

Our stay was a dream come true. The restaurants were amazing, the cabin was perfect, and the staff was so nice. The lake was so beautiful, and it was one of the best spots we visited during our week long time in Canada. I could not recommend Emerald Lake Lodge more!

Le lodge est situé dans un endroit merveilleux. le batiment de réception+restaurant est très sympathique. La qualité culinaire des plats proposés par le restaurant est top et le rapport qualité/prix excellent. Le petit déjeuner, par contre, nous a semblé cher pour la nourriture proposée. En revanche, meme si le décor est original et chaud, notamment avec une vraie cheminée au vrai feu de bois, notre chambre avait besoin d'un bon rafraichissement, la literie n'était pas très confortable et, en général, les équipements vieillots. Un plus cependant avec la machine à expresso dans la chambre.
