The room was well presented and was cleaned and refreshed during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and all had smiles on their faces. We have been on several occasions in the past and we will return.

My daughter and I were absolutely blown away by the kindness and surprise when we entered the room x absolutely beautiful towel work and all the other special treats. This was so lovely after an awful year following cancer treatment and I paid for us to come away as she had been so supportive in every way . Lovely to celebrate her birthday and good positive beginnings. Thank you so much

Convenient for exploring Oxford. Parking included. Nice big room for a family with walk in wardrobe and nice bathroom. Breakfast was good and the kids enjoyed the pool. Bit awkward in the pool at times as it was also used for spa days- bit of a tricky combination- lots of families swimming and people trying to relax! Reception staff very unwelcoming- not initially manned- could hear staff behind the screen chatting. Long queue formed. Very slow service. Very hard working staff at breakfast- despite being very busy a lady worked very hard to keep food topped up.

Lovely sized room with good facilities. Could have been more sugar and tea etc in room, only one large towel and bathroom not cleaned very well. But nice decorations and good comfy bed.

Lovely hotel and very friendly staff Great for what we needed

Excellent stay. Rooms - spacious, clean and large 50 inch TV is great. Breakfast - fantastic. Nice veggie sausages and excellent hash browns - English breakfast was excellent. Only thing that could be improved is having cheese in the breakfast. Swimming pool/spa - pool a bit shallow, but otherwise fine. Would have been incredible if there were a jacuzzi. Steam room and sauna are both great. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. On check in I left a review about the lack of toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser), and the next day the staff left these in the room for us, which show good attention to detail and to feedback, which is well appreciated. Will definitely be returning!

Great hotel. Room was spacious and nice to have doors leading to the courtyard outside. The bar staff were so friendly and welcoming and made a fuss of our dog, bringing him water and treats. The pool was lovely, shame there isn’t a jacuzzi though. Loads of options at breakfast and all well cooked and tasty.

Tired neglected and run on a shoestring. Sad that a potentially amazing location is not invested in. But it’s a sign of the times.

A lovely hotel. Food was excellent! But waited a little while for it to appear, none the less it was worth the wait. Rooms nice and clean and comfortable. Leakimg showered head was slightly annoying

Amazing staff everywhere. Amazing breakfast. Room was lovely. Just the mattress was very springy and the pull out sofa bed had a metal frame that kids kept catching their legs on. Ended up putting mattress on the floor and they were fine. It was good that kids could use the pool but the area needs more modernising as it looks a little tired. Overall a great stay and the location was good.

Excellent selection available at breakfast. Room was spacious and comfortable. Parking was easy.

Excellent staff, made us feel extremely welcome from checking in. Checking in was smooth. Dining room options excellent. Thank you lovely Ellie. Delicious food- fish and chips and steak and ale pie. The room was great and again we really appreciated the effort that the housekeeping staff went to in preparing the room especially because we were there to celebrate a birthday. Booking reservations- Tanya is amazing in sorting everything out. Nice lounge, nice staff in the gym and Spa. A relaxing stay . Great choice for breakfast. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you to the lovely staff at the Oxford Belfry.

The hotel itself was nice although there was a conference on so it was noisy at night. Mattress was comfortable but the pillows weren’t, really wish hotels would have different pillow types on the bed as not everyone likes a feather pillow.
