Amazing experience !

Location is the best attribute of this hotel. After that and the decent included breakfast (not Mexican), there’s a lot to be improved. The condition of the rooms is a pity. For such a good location, they could invest in updating and maintaining this property’s rooms. Apart from old and mostly non functioning, electric system is a hazard. No hand towel and never got it even after asking for it. No more pillows available either. A/C is as old as the hotel and never warmed up (apart from making a loud noise). Price was interesting for the area, but comes with a price. The 3 stars they get are because of its location. This hotel somewhere else would get 1.

This is an old-fashioned hotel with no modern amenities such as USB ports, a refrigerator, or a strong Wi-Fi signal. It looks reasonably convenient overall, but it can get noisy if your room is close to the street. The bathroom has a tub that is difficult to access and inconvenient for anyone with limited mobility. Only two bath towels were provided, and they were hard, old, and rough. Even though I asked the reception to change them, I kept receiving towels of the same quality. No hand towels or a bathmat were included. The continental breakfast consists of a small cup of coffee, a sandwich, and four pieces of fruit. I tried it once, but it’s better to get breakfast elsewhere. I visit Mexico City frequently and have never experienced limits on towels or on continental breakfast portions that are counted.

Very clean ,nice place to stay, friendly staff.Everything is very close to go on bus to zocalo,catedral,angel de la independencia, places to go eat.

Ya se ve deteriorado

Im main Hotel areas beautiful well keep old classic hotel and restaurant, the room was a bit worn needing renos but clean, pillows and bed quit hard.

This place needs to upgrade its restroom facilities in the rooms and it's electrical. In order to charge my phone I needed to disconnect a lamp. And even then it didn't work the. Refrigerator coffee maker did not work. The air conditioner did not work. Terrible place. I had to leave and go across the street to fiesta, americana

Hotel was nice location great, the food need a bit more attention specially when you order eggs, I order over easy eggs, I couldn’t eaten, they look like volcano crater bubbles all over I don’t know how they cooked but it was bad, I’m sorry to tell you but I will definitely will come back and stay with you guys again or recommend to any one, thank you for having me and my wife.

The main reason for booking this hotel was the location, it is close to the Historic Center and with good dinning options really close. We are really disappointed about the room condition, the sink was not draining properly even after reporting it to the front desk and a visit from the maintenance team. The bathroom is not something to brag about. The towels are really old, it seems they don't replace them, the a/c was loud but it kept the temperature nicely. The staff is friendly but apparently they cannot help due to limited resources, we asked for an extra pillow (my wife needed it due to health situation) and they told us the couldn't provide it. It is a beautiful building but is old and in need of upgrades. We got a great rate and enjoyed our time in Mexico City and the location of this hotel helped a lot.

Property needs a little Care!

Es muy bonita la área el hotel también pero hubo un pleblema en el baño la agua se quedó no se fue cuando se bañaba

No breakfast like they say you have to pay for your own breakfast. Nothing is free in there. The only thing they gave you ship sandwich, orange juice, same fruit every day.

No towels in bathroom, cold water , dirty sofa, no air conditioning, old furniture and curtains.

Hotel did not want give more shower towels after letting them know that there were occupants in the room. They didn’t want to give an extra voucher either for the continental breakfast. They didn’t let you take any coffee nor food to your rooms from the breakfast area. Staff did not bother trying to accommodate in type of way or even tried to contact management for us.
