Good hotel, but the dining was very limited

Old ron, very noisy

Room was clean and tidy however could do with a refresh. Staff friendly and helpful. Didn’t eat in the restaurant but menu looked good. Only gripe, parking, you are charged an extra £5 on top of your bill to park overnight in the car park. Not sure why this is being implemented because there isn’t anything around the area that would cause people to park there overnight other than the hotel residents.

Room smelt musty and of smoking!! No tissues,poor lighting, cost 5 pounds to park. Restaurant steak meal was very poor.

Night out

The staff at the Hotel were great especially the lady on Reception who was very welcoming and accommodating. The hotel bedrooms are a little outdated but perfectly fine. We stayed in the cottage and I found the walls were very thin and I could hear the people next door and above.

Food taste good could had been more options & I would had like it to be abit cheaper as we was staying there maybe give a % off your bill. As we had small children in our party we did eat before 7.30 so we did get a free drink but our grandchild didn’t. Room where comfy but so hot even with a fan

The location and accommodation was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast could have been better in terms of choice and quality.

Lovely area, picturesque village. Very helpful staff. Good room, although couldnt get hot shower. Good breakfast too. Only issue was no food available on Sunday arrival, but was informed of this on booking.
