Great place to stay, centrally located.

Very nice staff, they helped us with everything we needed. Breakfast is great.

Nice clean room, helpful staff, lovely breakfast, great location. Noisy some (weekend) nights as near busy bars and restaurants so see if you can get a room at the back if that’s a concern

Nice hotel with a helpful staff. But we had a few issues. The bathroom was clean but the glasses were quite dirty.The only bathroom amenities are shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There was no phone in the room so have your cell phone handy to call the desk. Room service was unavailable due to a lack of staff and not every option on the restaurant menu available. We also lost television service for a time during the world cup. Luckily there was a sports bar down the street. The location is great with many shops and restaurants nearby. It is also convenient to any sights you may want to see. I give the desk staff 5 stars. They are very friendly and helpful.

Need far better lighting in rooms

Excellent hotel close to everything in Uppsala. The main highlight is breakfast—truly delicious and very Swedish (even has several types of pickled herring for enthusiasts).

This was our last favorite hotel stay during our trip. The room and bathroom were very very small. The shower door doesn't go all the way to the floor which meant the floor outside the shower got wet. You could tell it's a continuous issue because the paint is peeling on the trim by the bathroom door and there was mold on the flooring right outside the bathroom. It got really hot in the room and you could only open the windows a tiny bit (no fan we could find either), but when you did there was a ton of noise from the restaurants and street outside. The bed was really hard. Breakfast had a good selection of options and it was a pretty convenient location in Uppsala, the luggage storage option was nice.

Hotel is in a great location for exploring Uppsala. Easy walk from the train station, and to all the main sights to visit. Comfortable room. Breakfast was very good! Would come back.

Amazing stay

It is a good hotel in an excellent location. Staff is friendly and polite. My only issue is how very dark the rooms are. The few lights in the room are very dim. No doubt an energy saving effort, but still, anyone over 50 would have a hard time reading a book by the lights over the bed.

We really liked the central location of this hotel, as it is very close to the charming area of Uppsala, next to a shopping mall with even a grocery store, near many restaurants and cafes, and across the street from a movie theater. It's really ideal if you plan to walk everywhere and you can even rent the hotel's bikes for 100 SEK per day (like $10-15 per day). However, if you plan to use a car, the hotel's parking is outrageously expensive with no in/out privileges. While it is close to the bus, if you are multiple people, it may be more cost effective to Uber it to destinations. Also, Foodora is available for food deliveries if you have Apple Pay to pay for delivery. The best part was the excellent service with friendly staff, huge breakfast buffet with both English/American (eggs and sausages) and the Nordic style breakfast (with fresh bread, cheese and deli meats). They even have smoothies and fresh fruit. We did not get a chance to try the spa. The only things left to be desired are the dark and dreary decor (the walls are literally dark gray) and the bathroom floor and shower tiles didn't look very clean. I really think they could have done better with a refresh of room decor and bathrooms.

Very good! Friendly personnel

Very clean, stylish, comfortable and central to everything. As a family traveling with kids, it was absolutely perfect! Walkable, safe and there was even a dedicated playroom that kept my 1.5 year old occupied for 2 whole hours.
