The house and host were lovely! Even gave me some recommendations of restaurants. The neighborhood was a little dodgy, I saw two pickpocket situations but nothing I as a solo female traveler couldn’t handle (even at night!). The staircase leading up to the house is a little scary especially at night! But the house is soo pretty, spacious, and has a beautiful balcony that totally makes up for it. The only thing I did not like is that room #3 did not have a way to lock the door from the inside with the key. There’s other travelers in two rooms so that is something that I’d find urgent to change! Maybe a sliding lock or something. I barricaded the door daily with the clothes rack provided. I was able to check in early and check out easily, overall my experience was a 4/5 and I would definitely stay here again if the lock was fixed.
