Beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room was perfect with a balcony, extremely clean and everything was absolutely wonderful. Excellent value for money as well. 5 stars all around.

Possibly the best bed I've had in a hotel. Gym & pool were very well maintained, breakfast was excellent. We had a room with a balcony and the room itself was huge. No complaints, would stay again.

Huge hotel. Gym was really well equipped. Breakfast was tasty and lots of options.

A lovely stay in quiet country setting, although depending on what else is happening you may be limited by the facilities you can enjoy. In our case, due to a wedding a visit to the Distillery was unavailable on the only whole day we had and it was also tricky to find time to use any of the spa facilities as they have limited opening hours. Which is fine if you're here for a spa weekend, but not if you have other plans. The food is the Grill is excellent and the waiting staff were amazingly friendly.

I recently visited this amazing place while in town for a wedding although not at this location and I’m genuinely impressed. The property has everything you could possibly need. I’m convinced they might have the best steam room and sauna on the planet; if relaxation were a sport, this place would win gold. Despite check‑in normally being at 3 p.m. I had traveled quite a long way, and the staff kindly prepared my room early. Their helpfulness deserves its own five‑star rating. I also dined at the at the restaurant and, honestly, the food was so good I briefly considered canceling all my future meal plans. Truly exceptional. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Great facilities, fantastic food, and a staff that goes above and beyond what more could you ask for

Nice room, very comfy bed. Had a good nights sleep. Good bathroom, separate shower and big bath. Very unusual to have both. Nice elemis toiletries on the wall to use. Really great breakfast, huge range and we had a very delicious meal in the vale grill. Staff were friendly. Big gym snd nice pool. On the downside-The towels were not so great. No big fluffy towels. Had seen better days. The plugs did not work to charge my phone and there were no usb sockets which I found unusual. TV was only basic channels. The spa snd gym were super busy. Long wait for the sauna. Bit odd to walk through the bar to get to the gym, strange layout.

We have stayed at the Vale a number of times in the past. Clean rooms, helpful staff. Normally play golf which is also good.

Very good breakfast.
