Staff very nice. A self serve cappuccino machine would be nice.

We loved Hotel Martello, beautiful rooms and common areas. And the best breakfast we’ve ever had at any hotel in the world, and it didn’t coast a thing!! Yum!

Martelli is comfortable, clean, very quiet and very well located. It’s close to everything you want to see in Florence

Location is good. near by train station and Duomo and many others things and places. Room and furniture were very old. room come with breakfast and it was OK. provided daily room make up. Staffs were good. AC was noisy. closet cabinet was super old and real renaissance. I would be OK with old but it smell old and bad. bathroom ceiling was look weird and creepy. stayed a couple days there. Overall, just for the location convenient.

The room was very clean and daily housekeeping, so nice to come back to a tidy room and bed made. Employees all spoke at least enough English to accommodate a non Italian speaker. They have an arrangement with a taxi service and were kind enough to book a taxi for my very early flight (7am). Excellent location in the heart of the city center and with a very good price.

Unique hotel with amazing individual rooms. Good breakfast included. Very central just 5-10 mins walk to most major places of interest. Surrounded by good quality restaurants. Highly recommended.

It’s a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. So traditional and yet has all you need! The staff were really lovely and kindly spoke English to us! The breakfast was perfectly Italian and they had little chocolate eggs out for us on Easter Sunday which was cute! The hotel is like a maze! Huge, and you feel part of the Florence history trying to work out where your room is , passing through little areas set up like dining rooms! I stayed with my 13 year old daughter and she said it was very fancy, and loved the chandeliers!

The hotel was good. Our room was spacious but a bit cold. The staff was nice. Breakfast could improve.

The location was excellent to walk to all of the historical sites. Room was clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than expected. I would stay there again, has a Forentine charm, very cozy

The hotel is old, the bathroom was too small! But great location and I guess it was a bargain for the location!

Staff were exceptionally helpful and could walk to all sites

We stayed there for 4 days (09/30-10/01). we liked the location close to everything. Also, we like the Wifi that we did not have difficult handling work related issues remotely, which made our vacation in Italy easy without worries. We will be back soon.

The hotel location is absolutely 5 stars with convenient walking distance to all major attractions. But the facility is about average. For comfortable sleeping, it can be just 1 star for a room next to street- very noisy or 3 stars in a quieter room in the middle of the facility. We ere given a room with window to street, we could not sleep at all whole night with constant noises from street. The front desk staff kindly changed an inside room for us which was much quieter, had good 2 nights of sleep. In general, I think it is a kind of average as whole with 3 stars.
