Amazing staff

very clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast. Near everything. We loved our stay here.

My second time at the property in 12 months. Excellent location, quite even it is in the city. The property has upgraded their shower and it is very comfortable to use even for family with small kids. Staff is friendly and the breakfast spread is sufficiently good.

The area around the hotel did not feel safe. Lots of people loitering especially in the afternoon and late evening. The room itself was much smaller than appears in the pictures on Expedia. No room to place bags in the room and no room for toiletries in the bathroom.

Rooms had all the necessities we needed. Breakfast was included and all staff were kind and helpful, especially with navigating throughout Paris.

Excellent service

From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff greeted us warmly and made check-in quick and easy. Our room was spotless, and surprisingly the room with twin beds were very spacious (we had rented two rooms), had comfortable beds and high-quality linens. AC and shower were the best. We stayed 4 nights. The location was perfect — close enough to walk to major attractions, yet peaceful and quiet at night. We especially appreciated the little touches, like complimentary coffee/expresso machine, fresh towels daily. We did not get breakfast since the bakeries was right across the hotel. Every interaction with staff was friendly and professional. I would stay there again.

We completely enjoyed our stay here. Small clean quiet hotel with super convenient location to a metro stop w multiple lines. Front desk was extremely helpful making restaurant suggestions. Would stay here again on another trip to Paris!

Breakfast was BAD!

Front staff were lovely and welcoming. Hôtel was tucked away down a quieter street but still was part of the Parisian busyness which we appreciated. The room was small but we expected it to be! Beds were very comfortable!

This hotel was perfect for our week in Paris: it is close to the metro and other sights and attractions. Many great restaurants nearby. Fatima was an amazing help for many things. Her knowledge of Paris and ways to navigate it made our visit so efficient and enjoyable

Nice property

Very comfortable room and beds. The ice from their ice machines is really, really good! The delicious crunchy kind. It was hot so we were refilling our cups with ice every couple hours. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the Metro, it made the whole of Paris feel very accessible.

Hotel du Plat d'Etain is a terrific place to stay to experience the daily flow of life in Paris. By which I mean: the hotel's in the Marais district, nicely situated amid blocks where restaurants and cafes abound; where a local metro (serving the #4 & #8 lines) is just 2 blocks away. I was able to navigate my way to the hotel from CDG Airport easily. It's a spot from where you can get to so many different neighborhoods in a flash--the ease of getting to Left and Right Bank sights surprised me. That's a real value to staying here. The hotel itself: the rooms are neat, small, and well-cleaned; I loved the shower--terrific water pressure. The staff was attentive, friendly, and informative. As a not-fluent French speaker, I was grateful that the staff was multi-lingual. Breakfast is served at the hotel; but you can get fresher croissants and better brewed coffee at local cafes for half the price. All in all, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat, and I hope I'll have the chance soon again to do so!

The location was very convenient! The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room is on the small side, but very comfortable and clean!

The room was tiny..

Very polite and helpful staff especially Gymie. Very good choices for breakfast. Comfortable and clean beds and bathroom. Very near to a metro. Walking distance to grocery store and restaurant/ bakeries. Walking distance to some attractions. The only negative is the AC in room 310 is not working during the 2 nights we stayed there. Still, I would recommend this hotel for family and friends.
