Close enough to the campus

Convenience of location, and breakfast in the morning.

I liked the water bottle refill station and the different flush options on the toilet. I did not like that our tub/shower did not drain properly, the bugs in our sink each night, the blood stains on our sheets, the smell of the room, the fact that the bathroom door did not fully close, or the breakfast.

Great place for price! Walked and ate at Mexican restaurant nearby. Showed in room needs updating and better cleaning but rest of room clean.

The water pressure was amazing, lots of times in hotels it’s not great. The breakfast was really good too. The lobby is clean and welcoming. Would recommend anyone staying in the Iowa City area stay here, good price, nice accommodations

What I liked, friendly staff, clean room. What I did not like old mattresses and no eggs at breakfast the days I stayed there.

Bed comfort

Clean and comfortable in a safe area. I have a profoundly disable husband. Everything is on me. This hotel was easy to find. The area made me feel comfortable. The handicapped accessible bathroom was one of the best we have ever had. Highly recommend.

Reasonable rate with very good breakfast included. Easy access off I-80. Staff at check in and following morning very helpful!! The room I had was worn. I had no light-blocking window covering...it seemed to have just been gone. Carpets worn since my first stay here two years ago.

We needed several nights in a clean, budget friendly place, that was close to the hospital. This was just perfect. Great value and location, very clean, but the best part was the very friendly and accommodating staff and owner. We very much appreciated a hot breakfast, hospital shuttle and friendly faces.

Once we got checked in the wifi internet did not work then later found out our TV did not work after having the staff come to our room due to "weak signal" called to request a wake up call and we never received a call

Beds were kind of uncomfortable- We stayed one night- on a weekend and it was super crowded during breakfast the next morning- Can't really complain as the room was fairly cheap for it being a weekend...

Carpet was filthy, with holes. This place is cost effective, yes, but not worth the savings. Breakfast buffet had lots to choose from- but should be extended by 1 hour, as it was packed with guests, not restocking. The “eggs” were the worst ever.
