Lack of services

Beautiful looking hotel. My only comment is the lack of elevator to reach my room. I had to carry my heavy luggage up and down the stairs. The floor where my room was situated requires stairs to get into as the elevator stopped on the floor above or below where my room was.

A great place, the bed could a bit bigger.

This hotel was very nice. The resort is beautifully laid out in an old German style and the room was very modern with a nice balcony. The pool and amenities were very nice as well. No complaints about the hotel itself. Despite this our stay at this hotel was not great. We came during the spring of 2021 so COVID was still a big factor. We needed to show a negative test on arrival and we had no problem with that. However, I was mistaken thinking the test could be within 48 of arrival, it needed to be within 24 hours and we were just 2 hours short. We were travelling by bike with a 2-year-old so you can imagine the inconvenience this caused. To say the hotel wasn't helpful is an UNDERSTATEMENT. The testing center was a 20 min bike ride away and it was clearly about to rain heavily. The hotel did not offer to drive us (even when I asked) and as we were riding in the pouring rain I remembered the hotel actually had COVID tests for their guests too but since we were only there only one night they refused to give it to us. Let me also mention we had gotten our vaccines at this piont too. We understand that government rules must be followed but they just seemed to want to make the experience as difficult as possible for us (and they succeeded). For this reason I will not be going back and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, especially families.

Nice hotel, had a meal at the hotel and staff very helpful as we couldn't read German. Good breakfast, wide selection. Offered a choice of gifts on check out - we chose the schnapps. Staff professional, friendly and well dressed.

Great bar. Hotel has excellent atmosphere. Old traditional style architecture and decor but very modern and clean.

This is a really nice hotel with excellent food and a nice atmosphere. The staff are friendly. If you book a solo room, your bed will likely be even smaller than a twin size bed and a tiny room, but overall was nice and there is a nice bar. It is an older traditional German setting with nice art. Evening restaurant is excellent, as well as the breakfast buffet. I did not try the spa but that seemed popular. This is also the only hotel that I've ever seen that gives you a free bottle of schnapps when checking out as a gift. Will be back.

My main complaint is about the bed's comfort. The room was large and cozy, but the bed was hard as a rock. For such a high price and a good quality hotel such as this (and it was a good hotel overall) I was very disappointed by the sleepless nights due to the low quality mattress. Other than that the hotel is beautiful, great breakfast and many amenities for adults and children. The location is nice but not much in walking distance, so get a car or plan on public transportation. The lake area in general is beautiful.

This is a really good hotel with nice staff, and the food is above average as well.

The room is clean and fairly well-appointed for a business hotel. It is in an industrial area and not exactly what one seeks when on vacation. That said, the staff is courteous and act within their scope of work very well. If on business in the area, go for it. If looking for a home base for Lake Constance, go elsewhere.

Enjoyable

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We traveled with our dogs and the hotel room was very suitable for our needs and we did a lot of walking in the hotel area with the dogs. Food at the hotel restaurant and breakfast area were exceptional. Would definitely stay again if in the area..

Propreté irréprochable, les plats étaient excellents, superbe SPA. Petit bémol : le jacuzzi, l'eau était froide. Mais nous reviendrions avec grand plaisir !

Tout était au top, le service, le petit-déjeuner, la salle de sport; je recommande vivement.

Man fühlt sich schon beim Eintritt zu Hause. Personal unwahrscheinlich freundlich Zimmer sind schön Frühstück Spitze Restaurant ebenfalls einfach nur zu empfehlen Werde immer wieder kommen

Die Zimmer sind super, das Hotel ist sehr sauber durch das Hallenbad und dem beheizten Pool kann man bei jedem Wetter baden und nicht zu vergessen, dass sehr freundliche und hilfbereite Personal. Wir waren schon 4x in diesem Hotel und kommen sehr gerne wieder.
