In need of upgrade work to bring to modern day standards, once this has been done then in very good location to beach and town centre..

The Ron hasn’t been updated in 10 years. The place is huge bud in serious need of maintenance.

When we arrived we tried to find a space as we drove round and there was a car parked over 2 spaces I went in to inform the hotel and she said she would send someone out, we parked out the front in the road and when we returned she said they have a big car so there allowed. The staff members attitude was awful. She then changed our room and we were put in the basement in a small chostrphobic room with no proper window. The room was dirty, not enough towels, a cracked mirror and to finish it off with 30 degree heat the heating was on. I informed reception that the room wasn't what I booked she said oh well we're full. The bed was 2 singles pushed together again not what we asked for. The whole experience was awful, we then had someone set the fire alarm off at 6am when we left the building the staff member laughed and said its ok just someone in the shower. The only half decent part was breakfast which was hot and eatable. I wouldn't recommend at all

Downrunned hotel , no fans in the rooms no air conditioning it this heat and the bathroom was so outdated

Awful hotel gave away my family room which I had booked for 1 adult and 2 children. Very disappointing. Hotel was very poor rooms were stale.

My telly didn’t work properly, but reception were super helpful, had a man come and reset it, STILL didn’t work, so they swapped it out for a whole new one. Also, the lights didn’t work. Ultimately, lovely, helpful staff, nothing appeared too much, the bed was comfy, and had a restful nights kip. All you really want from a night in a hotel, really.

Breakfast was good staff was very polite hotel had good amenties near by

Ok, for the money just ok, nothing usefull nearby, night porter surly, no showet gel in bathroom, ask for some, didn't get any....bar closed.....but plenty of parking.

First night, I stayed was freezing cold in the room. But I have complained, and they give me a really nice room in exchange for my last night. so alls well that ends well

Easy and friendly check-in even though I was early to do so. Plenty of free parking available. Room was clean, fresh and well served with towels. Both room and bathroom were a decent size. Hotel may be a bit dated in place but the location was great and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you.

Very tired property. Could do with a revamp. Very noisy all night (2-3am) groups of blokes shouting. Next room blokes shouting. Breakfast was good and staff were ok

Not a good stay. Arrived and waited to check in with some other customers at the reception, while 3 members of staff chatted bwtween them ignoring us for nearly 5mins. The eventually started to greet the guests. We stayed in a family room on thw first floor. Hotel is very tired and run down. Had rotting drain smell in areas. First room had hair and dirt on the floor of bathroom and towels with blood stains. Reported this to staff who reluctantly gave us new towels. Then found no shower gel in bathroom and dirty carpet in bedroom. Complained again after first night. Got offered a new room for seccond nite. Told to go havw breakfast and come back later to get new key and move room. Used pool and leisure changing rooms. Which were filthy. Got to hotel only to be spoken to with raised voice about failing to change room first thing this morning as we had gone out as they advised. After an arguement got new room. In new room there was no bin, no shower gel, musty smell, dirty carpet. Reported to reception who wrote it in housekeeping book. No action taken to resolve. Complained in morning as needed to shower. Waited 45 mins for someone to get shower gel. Will never stop here again!

Great value, clean, breakfast great, typical seaside town hotel. Would recommend

Not a luxury hotel but for the price its pretty good. The room layout is similar to a chain hotel room and it was clean and tidy. The staff were great and always friendly. I never ate here so cant comment on the food. They have entertainment on at the weekends which you can hear in your rooms but its not excessive and finished at 10 pm each night. I would happily stay here again if i found myself in the area.
