This property is a beautiful area, surrounded by nature. It’s a very pretty Resort. Unfortunately the property needs to be kept up better. Over the years it has become old and deteriorated, they need to do a better job to maintain it fix what coming apart. Overall from the outside, beautiful, but once you started to see it needs slit if work and they aren’t doing a good job to maintain and a bit of lack in cleanliness. Lots os super webs everywhere. Staff was good and friendly. Thank you

With a building that looks more like a work of art nestled in a forest, the resort is a unique experience! You can see that the building is a little aged and in need of some maintenance, but nothing that would lose the shine of the place.

This property is gorgeous. There are beautiful, high-end restaurants and wineries nearby. We are so glad we added this to our trip.

This resort was amazing. It is a very picturesque and serene location. All the staff was very welcoming. We stayed in the bi level suite which was perfect. The outdoor spaces are very well designed and the view is amazing everywhere you look. I highly recommend this resort and we will be back.

I look forward to the day we return back to this majestic place. The food was exceptionally delicious, prepared with delectable perfection. Great place for families, couples and all the above.

This is the best hotel in South America. Hands down. Beautiful locale. Away from the bustle of Buenos Aires. Spectacular in every way.

The rooms are terrific. We had a duplex with our daughter staying on a twin type bed downstairs. The staff throughout the resort was excellent. There was a poolside restaurant where they would bring orange and lemon flavored water and free ice cream. The food was excellent. There was a wide choice of free breakfast. The dinners were uniformly excellent. There was a nice yoga studio by the river. The workout room was a bit dated but adequate. Two tennis courts and they supplied all the equipment.Free use of bikes where you could ride to a nearby marina thru a very nice housing development. The only disappointment was the food at the neighboring Narbona winery.Wine was fine;food was not

Restaurant was regular quality and the prices were outrageous. The hotel is in need of better maintenance (overall look and leaks during rain). Not up to Four Seasons standard.

The rooms are very spacious and pleasant. Service was occasionally weak (eg pool bar), but other times excellent (eg room service). There were small maintenance issues like the outdoor shower drain left you standing in water....small things...it isn't a new hotel. The pool is wonderful, a huge 3 tiered square, with plenty of space for everyone. The food was good but not remarkable. The spa is nice and there is also a large indoor heated pool and a decent gym. There are tennis courts, a golf course and horses are available. It is located in a pine and eucalyptus forest that is very fragrant, nice unless you are allergic to it. The river shore is accessible but not a place you want to swim. Access to the hotel is via a fast ferry, only 1 hour from Buenos Aires to Colonia, Uruguay and then a 1 hour drive (they meet you at the boat if you like). So it is a nice 2 or 3 night break from Buenos Aires busy streets. Relative to Argentina, prices in Uruguay is expensive and the Four Seasons is no exception.

Fantastic property, beautiful setting, great staff, tons of activities, extremely relaxing. Have them make a reservation for you at Finca Narbona. Pet the tegus. We went in off-peak/shoulder season so there was a lot of renovation going on -- can only assume it will be even better in peak season.

For our honey moon we spent 3 nights at the Four Season at Carmelo, Uruguay. Our room was very spacious were we spent quite some time. The staff was excelent at making our experience just delightfull. Food was very good, not excelent, but very good. There are not many choices in Carmelo to have a nice dinner, so the hotel's restaurant was practically the only choice, but its nice atmosphere and excelent service made it very enjoyable. We enjoyed the pool many hours, having some drinks and finger food, the empanadas were incredible.
