We loved the “dive” but we didn’t feel safe (a lot of fights in the casino). The noises we heard from the room were simply thin walls.

Really enjoyed the property and staff. Great location to explore Fremont Street. Shuttle to airport was a plus. I gave it a 4 for cleanliness due to the cigarette smell in the casino and restaurant. Overall, a great stay. We will be back

There's only one thing to say about it, I would definitely tell everyone that asks, "you can't go wrong with price and all the employees. "

The bell hop Tony was so nice and helpful. The mornings wait staff was so rude.

I love staying in the original room, me and my husband love that it’s 21 or older and the barber shop is amazing,

The area is a little sketchy, The security guard was nice and friendly, Good idea to have one !!! The outside “motel” part of the hotel was nicely redone, the cobbled outdoor curved hallway was done well to prevent wood rot, however it was a little tricky to walk on I would guess for old people, and the doorman dolly’s make a huge racket delivering luggage. They are great for carpeted floors, but for that top floor, it’s an automatic wake-up as it went by. Bubble type wheels would be quiet, not to mention I bet things will break how much things are shook up.

Car front valet. Majority of Staff has “chip on shoulder “, frowning, lazy posture, ignoring, cursing, cut off walking path false statements, paranoid thoughts and anger issues etc Management over promises and under delivers. Not worth the price or hassles. Staff sleep’s behind registration desk in chair.

This is a beautiful hotel. People are super nice. Is located only 2 blocks from the Freemon Experience. The room is spacious, has a great view of Las Vegas.

The stay was ok. Judy (the registrar) not so nice. She “dumped me off” to another person. The room was nice and spacious But if you’re going to go to relax, get another side of the building. Since El Cortez is right off Fremont, you’re gonna hear that music from some on Thursday all of it on Friday and Saturday. It’s a good “Fremont Experience”!!

I loved the aesthetic of the hotel and how convenient it is from Fremont. Siegals 14 was delicious! The only issue we had was our comforter had some sort of brown/red stain and the toilet wasn’t stable. Other than those two minor issues, it was a great stay and comfortable. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for the great customer service and hospitality!

It's very convenient to the Fremont experience. But the noise from Fremont Street is a little excessive on the weekend. The hotel isn't real fancy but it leaves you with a feeling of nostalgia for the old days of Las Vegas

El Cortez is a great location filled with history. Older plumbing so be patient with water draining in your room. Other than that, great stay!
