Had high hopes for this place as I’d read about it in a view travel guides. Was sadly disappointed.
PROS: Fabulous buffet breakfast with a lovely view, nice size rooms. Friendly front desk staff.
CONS: 1) Gym: kind of a joke, very small, not really clean, a ridiculous multi-station machine that’s great in theory, terrible in functionality. 2) Room service: ordered a grilled chicken breast and vegetables. Received what appeared to be a very under seasoned AND undercooked (several areas of pink) rolled piece of chicken sitting solo in the middle of a big plate, and a tiny à la carte serving of vegetables in a little bowl. Total was $85. Told the front desk at check out and they just said, “Sorry”. 3) We did a walk through of the pool area where the chaise loungers were clearly well worn, and there was a big puddle of backed up standing water on the walkway just outside the pool gate.
