Always a pleasure to stay at this location.Front desk is always friendly,quick and efficient.

Rooms very dated and the pool was small and not very clean. Probably didn’t help that a hockey team was there at the same time but wouldn’t return.

Clean shower and towels and bed was comfy

Unfortunately, my stay was very disappointing. The room was extremely small and located in the basement near the pool, which made it quite noisy throughout the stay. The service was also poor, and overall the experience did not meet my expectations. Considering the amount I paid, I expected much better value, comfort, and customer service. I hope the hotel takes guest feedback seriously and works on improving both the quality of the rooms and the overall guest experience for future travelers.

Nice location

It was ok, not bad. Check-in and out was quick and when I made a request for extra towels. There was no hesitation and it was brought quickly. Overall great service.

From checking in to checking out, I was greeted with a smile. Staff were amazing! The room itself was superb! Clean and well maintained.

Nice place for the price. Free parking. Good location. I was just crossing from BC and spent the night in Edmonton before continuing my drive. Didn’t have a chance to try the pool or food or fitness center

The sleep arrangements were ok just the mattress was too soft and the air conditioning was receiving the air from the inside of the pool area not from outside air. It made the room a little humid.

We arrived late in the evening, so it was very dark (from lobby, pool area to stairwells). Did not realize no elevator in main building. Possibly issues from recent storms, hallways were stale-smelling, all the carpeted areas felt dingy. Main floor rooms all carpeted and also felt dirty, AC was not strong enough to cool the room down. We visited the pool late, staff great at bringing clean towels when asked. However, pool areas very messy from a full day of swimmers. The place was recommended by family but I don’t think we’ll book there again. Maybe the tower suites tell a different story.

Staff are amazing at Sandman Hotel West Edmonton. Rooms and beds need upgrading.

The 24 hour Denny’s restaurant made some people choose this hotel and this made it very busy with people coming and going. I had hoped for a more sedate stay.

I had a good sleep on the firm/ clean bed. The room was clean and quiet (for being near the pool). The air conditioning worked perfectly.

I enjoyed the food and service at Denny’s.

Won’t be staying there again. There were people outside my room being extremely loud all night long for two nights. I had to keep calling security. Bed and pillows were hard. I was very disappointed in my stay.
