This is a convenient location with comfortable rooms and facilities. I did not eat there in the evening. I was surprised on arrival at 19.15h to be told that my room was not ready. After another staff member was consulted, the room was provided. I did not use the cited car park, but noticed that the traffic in surrounding streets was gridlocked for much of the day. This was particularly bad at 7-9pm on Friday night.

One of our rooms wasn't available until 5.00pm and even then we were given an inferior room. We were re-imbursed the difference - but overall disappointed

I like that the room was clean and bathrooms also was clean. The workers seem very friendly.

Room on the 5th floor with a canal view. Room was spotless and air conditioning was perfect as we had very warm weather this weekend. Staff were friendly and polite and we had a very warm welcome on arrival. Breakfast was lovely ….even better when we realised we could ask for fresh fried eggs. Small gym room but enough equipment to have an hour session. Security is fab as you can’t access the rooms unless you have a key card. Plenty of restaurants close by and a beautiful short walk along the canal to the Utilita arena.

Lovely comfortable hotel in the city

Dressing gowns only one size didnt fit. Complained to staff they said there was nothing they could do as all one size across the hotel. Sink very poor didnt drain. I am expecting a 100 pounds returned to my card. Please look into this. Breakfasts cold and a complete waist of money

Fabulous location on the canal , lots of bars and restaurants around the hotel . Only a 6 minute walk to the Utilita arena . Hotel was spotless

Lovely hotel spotlessly clean wished I had got the name of the young lady on reception who went above and beyond with her helpfulness. One gripe though , the pillows were awful and gave me a neck ache

Great location, room, facilities and nearby parking but the staff made it extra lovely - so warm, friendly and welcoming!

Great breakfast, friendly check in staff who gave us an upgrade. Lavender bags to take to bed was a nice touch.

Great location to most things in Birmingham.

Always choose the Mailbox hotels ( this one and the Malmaison) if possible when traveling for work in Birmingham. Very convenient for restaurant and parking options- hotel amenities and breakfast all good.
