Convent area to tourist

It was such amazing stay in the hotel. Room was big and clean, and there is the best staff I've ever experienced in a hotel! Everyone was so helpful and friendly, especially the head waiter at the breakfast - what a lovely person! The location is perfect, very close to everywhere, well connected with public transport and many shopping options around. Thank you so much, I will definitely come back.

Great location, comfortable beds, really nice staff, and so I had a great stay with my family.

Plus side. Location. Clean and safe. Downside: dated rooms. Breakfast options limited. Rooms decent. Some road noise and the maid likes to start her work at 7am!! Very convenient though. Be careful, windows open wide and be careful with small children. Seems like it is being updated so will Improve.

We had a suite with a wonderful skyline view on the top floor of the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and modern. Nice breakfast. Excellent location near the train station and walkable distance for most attractions of the city. Highly recommend booking a top floor suite at this hotel.

I was doing the Ironman in Hamburg. The hotel was super clean and the staff were amazing however its opposite a casino and the rooms facing the casino are very loud with music. So you have to have the window shut. And there is no aircon so super hot.

Good hotel in the center city . Convenient and walkable to all major attractions. Did not like the check in process . They could not find my reservation for a while . Not pleasant . Rooms are nice and clean. Sofa had stains on it .

Great place to stay near everything.

Excellent value for money. My room was an older style single, but perfectly adequate for a 3 night stay. Good location, near Alster lakes (great for a stroll/run) and beautiful Planten un Blomen park. Rathaus about 1/2 mile. Breakfast and cleaning staff efficient and friendly. Poor WiFi. Laeiszhalle also within easy walking distance, where I attended a concert. Would use again.

The hotel was ideally placed for exploring the city. The room was on the 6th floor and was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was included in the rate and the vegan food choices were good. The Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

I left behind a valuable object, and when I realized it, I immediately emailed the Alster to arrange to have it sent to me at a later destination. When I arrived, it was waiting for me!

The hotel was lovely and in a great location. It was very close to restaurants and shops. It was an older hotel so the room furnishings were older. The bathroom was remodeled. The breakfast and lounge area were nice. Breakfast offered a variety of items and was very good. If you enjoy a more traditional hotel , I would recommend it. The staff were very courteous and professional.

Family trip to Hamburg. Hotel is in a great location. Free parking after 8pm in front of hotel on the boulevard street. Other than that a parking structure I was told was 15min away. Room was great and breakfast as well.

Easy and fast check in. Very well located. The room is very basic but has what is needed. 10 out of 10 for cleanliness with a very comfy bed and. Could have been better if it had air conditioning, specially during the heatwave now but, unfortunately, not even a fan I had in the room. Staff are all very polite and pleasant. Breakfast is average but ok. The location is, undoubtedly, the highest selling point. If younger travelling on a budget, I totally recommend it.
