Velas Vallarta is our new resort of choice. This is our second time vacationing here for short visits 4 to 5 days and so far so pleasant. We’ve been lucky enough to enjoy barbecues on the beach both times outstanding cuisine and entertainment poolside service is above bar, courteous and professional always. The sweets are perfect long rooms with full-size bathrooms, kitchens, and living room rooms. We love our balconies in the second building. We’ve been lucky enough to be on the sixth and seventh floors which have incredible views of the grounds and the ocean. We love Velas Vallarta and we look forward to our next visit.

Visited with my son and mom. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. Great view, loved the balcony. Only complained was the room smelled strange due to the humidity but they did bring a dehumidifier when we called in. It helped some but the smelled lingered. My son really enjoyed the pool and lazy river. My mom and I appreciated the staff and how wonderful they all were. The food was good and my son tried the kids club activity for one of the days we were there and he enjoyed it. We also walked to the beach which is right off the resort. Great resort overall!

Velas was the perfect place to bring your family. They have an activity every day and staff were very friendly.

The resort is great but the food quality is really poor, flavorless, the Mexican food is nor good, fajitas are terreble, desserts are really good Price is too high not worth it

Everyone enjoys this property

We stayed here with our toddler and had a wonderful time. The restaurants had no wait times and the food was good. The three pools made it so fun for our toddler to explore around and the play area was nice. We didn’t use the kids club because our toddler was too young. It looked nice though! We did venture out and rent a car on our own. When we found ourselves stuck with the car overnight the hotel was extremely accommodating to us parking it on the property with virtually no notice. Overall, it was super relaxing and accommodating. Perfect for family summer vacationing.

Clean and fun

The property was excellent! The food was very good and the service was out of this world!! The service staff knew who we were and what we liked, and they were incredibly kind. I can't say enough good things about Velas Vallarta, but I can say that we'll be back next year!

I vacationed there recently with my 2 grandchildren. It felt very safe warm and inviting. We would definitely go back

Fantastic stay! All inclusive option provides everything you could want and is a great value. Staff is super friendly and pools are wonderful. Food is really great and access to airport, downtown and beach is wonderful. If you’re looking for an all inclusive option in Mexico this is your spot!

Great resort

I’ve been to Cabo and Cancun. Puerto Vallarta was not nearly as nice. This hotel was outdated. Pools were literally WARM/hot. Room was clean although there was a plumbing issue where the toilets wouldn’t flush. Food was not what I would expect in Mexico. It’s like a crappy 2 star Mexican restaurant in the US. ALSO all inclusive you know I expected watered down alcohol but after 13 drinks I should feel buzzed. At least! I kept asking for don julio and pineapple one day and same thing. Nothing. Not even a tingle. My stayed all day by the pool drinking and she wasn’t even buzzed by the end. Spend a little extra and stay at a different hotel if you already bought flights to PV. Omg and then the lobby. You would expect the moment you come to start your vacation you go into a building you want to walk in refreshed into a cool room. The lobby was a sauna. Sauna.
