Staff was very accommodating!

First of all, the room was NOT Ocean View. It was just "Partially Sea View". To see the ocean I need to stay at the corner of the room or need to go out to a narrow balcony. So the room was absolutely not correct. And the bathroom was uncomfortable at all. It was so small and the Water Closet is very close to the wall. I am just 180cm tall but I was not able to sit in the water closet. My knees were pushing against the wall and feeling painful. I talked with the front desk clerk but no solution for the issues. I had to stay in Partially Sea View Room and I got knee pain in two days in this room. Since the 1980s I have been staying numerous times in Marriott Hotels around the in all six continents of the world and never been i a Marriott like this one. Uncomfortable bathroom and non-friendly front desk clerk. No more Marriott in the Canary Islands.

Great hotel! Just got back from AC Tower, I’ve been upgraded to a balcony room ( as a member ) without even asking, thank you. Fantastic facilities, food, building, service, and location. 5 minutes to a buzzing beach with everything on your doorstep. Lovely breakfast and staff. Really enjoyed it. Would love to return.

Overall a nice place. Good stuff: The beach was only a 4 minute walk, also short walks to bus, grocery store, taxi stand, and many restaurants/stores. Annoying: we had to sit sideways on the toilet due to close proximity to the wall, and we are average height. A little strange for us (Americans): no washcloths nor top sheet on the bed (only a comfortor)

Lucas was friendly and informative especially about the local tapas. Room comfortable but no free room upgrade available. Nice pool area but insufficient sunloungers.- unheated pool very cold!

I was in 10th floor and noticed bugs in my room and around the roof of elevator. They changed my room but bathrooms are not clean and water from toilet tank is running constantly.

Everything amazing but I forgot my cable charge in the room and disappear :(

Hotel in great location with great views from restaurant but in need of renovation in some areas eg restaurant wooden floor was broken and trip hazard in places

I booked this hotel due to the brand name "Marriott" I was shocked when I arrived to see staircase, not knowing there's an elevator for luggages behind on the other side, apart from level 23 where breakfast is served, everything else is not of Mattorttlebrl

The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from Santa Catalina bus station, which is a great way of getting to/from other parts of the island. The area around the elevator on the 14th floor smelled of dampness and mold but there was a sign indicating that they were resolving an issue. Aside from that the hotel and the room were very clean. The room was a good size and had a balcony with an amazing view of the city and the ocean. The fitness centre was small but had enough equipment to work with.

The overall experience was really nice

Everything was great except that there is no heating in the building, and it becomes drafty at night. But the staff offer extra blankets!

Biggest issue was lack of cleanliness, the entire room was filthy. Wanted to have a nice bath but all around the bath was so dirty i could wipe off the dirt with ease, then the bath plug was covered in black filth, just gross. Fixtures in room haven’t been wiped for months covered in thick dust. Cigarette stumps on balcony, someone else’s hair on the sink upon arrival. Bed on one side was worn down felt like sleeping on a hill. We didn’t get a maid service on our second day which I find odd in a 5* hotel usually get a daily freshen up but nothing. Corridors smelt like damp. On a plus side, the lounge on 23rd floor was lovely with nice service and nice views and the location was great for us. Needs a huge renovation and new cleaners, won’t be staying again.
