Friendly staff

This hotel was an amazing finish to our week in Italy! The staff was excellent, from check-in to breakfast service to check-out. The room with a view over Ponte Vecchio was awe-inspiring. The location to all the main sights of Florence was ideal. A must stay on my next trip to Florence!

The facility is very old.

Amazing hotel in every way. Located near the Ponte Vecchio, right on river and easy walk to everything. The hotel is beautifully decorated with small bar and nice breakfast including American pot of coffee. But the best part was the outstanding service. They upgraded our room and and we overlooked the river and a bottle of prosecco was sitting for us at check in.

Our family booked to rooms and spent two very pleasant nights at this hotel. It has one of the best locations in town just off Ponte Vechio at the historic center of Venice. Breakfast was great and the service personnel who tended to it was the best in the hotel.

Love the location and ease of walk ability. I was looking for a hotel that was clean, had good a/c, and walkable - this hotel hit the mark!

the breakfast was great. so many choices. the breakfast staff was pleasant. so was the entrance staff. but everyone else seemed to hate their job or are not happy people

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel in Italy! From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, making it feel like a luxurious home away from home. The amenities were top-notch, and every detail felt carefully considered to enhance our stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive — always available when needed but never intrusive. Their hospitality made a lasting impression and added so much to the overall experience. This was easily one of the most memorable hotel stays we’ve had. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic Italian getaway.

We had a VERY SLIGHT snafu when we first got to our room (roll-away for 3rd person wasn't already in room like the desk thought). They quickly apologized, & ended up upgrading us to a larger room to accommodate the 3rd bed even better. I had booked a river view room, but our view of the Ponte Vecchio was amazing! Staff was very accommodating & helpful with our many questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

My wife and i stayed here one night only due to a flight cancellation. The staff were very kind to make us feel welcome, made an excellent recommendation for dinner, and packed us a wonderful bag breakfast due to our having to leave at 4am. The bar was very enjoyable for a cocktail before going out, bartender skillful and charming. We stayed here by accident but next time i am in Florence i will stay here.

The location is good. The room for a solo traveler is terribly bad, it has two levels, and you have to climb up a steep wooden staircase to reach it, and doing so with luggage is not safe. The hotel, in its time, must have been of good quality, but they have neglected it.
