Great location. Nice pools

I loved the ocean view, the roosters , the beach cafe-the only thing I didn’t like were all of the hidden fees which made the stay much less affordable…

We stayed at Duval Gardens Guesthouses. While the room and over-all resort was nice and the staff were friendly and responsive, we were underwhelmed with our stay for the price for a few reasons. Duval Gardens was located about 10 min walk inland from the rest of the resort, to include the breakfast included in our stay, the beach, main pools, restaurants/bars, etc. which was not clear in the booking and was disappointing as we paid for a resort for the convenience. Additionally, there were small bugs on the bathroom counter the entire stay, and two roaches on our last day. The area of beach access was also covered in mounds seaweed and not raked, so it is not the most ideal for swimming. Some positive features were a small private pool at the Duval Gardens, the room was relatively quiet, and was accessible to restaurants and shops. We also enjoyed the bar when we were at the beach.

Employees were friendly and courteous and that’s the only reason for the three stars. Difficult to determine where to go for breakfast lunch or dinner on the resort and breakfast didn’t start until 8am. Some people are awake and ready for breakfast much earlier than that. Beaches were discussing and barely there because they were covered in algae that was never cleaned up. There was always a drying fan running on the second floor at the end of the hall making all kinds of noise. The curtains in the room did a terrible job of blocking out the light that came through the windows all night long. Overall would not make plans to stay here again.

Southern Most Beach Resort was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and our VIP welcome was a wonderful way to begin our getaway.

Nice clean safe hotel, with easy access to the beach or pools (there are three) and Duval Street on the same block.

We stayed here for our elopement trip!! And it exceeded our expectations!! The perfect bit of resort feeling while still being tucked away privately as well! Great combination!! We enjoyed every bit from the room to the pool and beach to the servers who took care of us at the pool bars and cafe!! The staff was lovely! And I have no bad complaints! 10/10! We will remember this trip for the rest of our lives!

Fabulous rooms and great service. Wish ppl were more kind to the chickens. The chickens add to the mystic and atmosphere. Loved our stay!!

A great location with plenty of amenities and ocean access. We loved our room with a partial ocean view balcony in the 700 block. The three pools give you choices between tranquil to party and the cafe has a lovely view of the ocean. The bathroom was large with a wonderful shower and comfortable beds. No microwave, but there is a fridge and coffee in the rooms and free bottled water is a big plus. The downside is that the elevators were down the entire time and the bar/restaurant staff are not as friendly as the others on property.

Stayed 4 nights in an ocean view room, and everything was wonderful. Check in was very quick and easy, room was very nice with a great view of the ocean. Pools are on the smaller side but were never full (although more chairs would be better). Beach was small but clean. The Southernmost Beach Cafe was a nice place to eat on site. And every bartender was great (shout out to Vlad!). The only two small criticisms are the property is large-lobby is at least a block away from the ocean view rooms so it’s a walk. And the property has brick for the streets making rolling a suitcase that far of a walk a little difficult. Overall-a great place to stay and enjoy Key West!

Great breakfast! Some disappointment finding out we were staying at Duvall house rather than the main part of resort.
