Beautiful resort located directly on the water. Beautifully-maintained property with very kind and hospital staff. Over an hour away from Lamezia Terme airport. This was our first time in Calabria and we'll be back for sure. Plan to book taxis (which are a bit expensive, but it's understandable for the region) or rent a car to explore Ricadi and Capo Vaticano. Visiting Tropea is a must, about a 15-minute drive from the resort.

Beautiful location with private beach. The beach is a little coarse and there are rocks in the ocean, but it was really nice. The pool and pool deck were great. Breakfast was good. Lunch and dinner menus were mediocre. Overall very happy with our stay.

Beautiful location, so idyllic and peaceful. Close to Tropea for shopping and adventures but ideal to also just enjoy the beach and relax.

Upon arrival my disappointment began. Every amenity and request for service was a struggle to achieve and a struggle to receive. Our room had major flaws of arrangement for example the toilet had mere inches between the knees upon sitting and the counter. I had to sit sideways on it to use it. Also the shower floor in an effort to look “cool” was terribly uncomfortable to stand on. We requested pool towels mid day and were told sorry we are out try tomorrow. The list goes on and on. The kitchen is open only for a short time and there is no food available in between. If guests don’t make a dinner reservation at the only dinner place you may not get fed until morning. It’s against the rules for the bar to sell a bottle of water unless the kitchen is open even though they sell alcohol the whole time.

Great property for families! Staff and hotel is very accommodating. Baby bathtubs, bibs, cutlery, cups, etc. could you more seating around the pool as it was often slim pickings. Grounds were beautiful, very well maintained, and the sunsets, unreal!

A very enjoyable stay in a beautiful environment. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel could benefit from more stock including small food provisions in the boutique. The room would benefit from a kettle and more effective air conditioning.

10/10 exceeded expectations. Room was amazing with a private plunge pool on the deck. The views are amazing and the restaurants are very well done on the ocean. Clean and felt like a Hawaii oasis

Property and service is wonderful. Little bit outside of town. Property has lots of amenities and activities like free kids club, restaurants etc that makes the stay very relaxing and enjoyable. Gunrud at the reception desk and Valeria at the boat rental desk was very helpful. Nothing much to do around the property itself. City of Tropea is a 10/15min drive. Lots of activity and dining options there.

Beautiful gardens and beach. Plenty of free parking. The road down to the resort is not as steep and winding as for other places making for easier access. Lots of families with kids, kids club, playground. The rooms are clean and have the basics, but the standard room is very small so, if you can afford it, it would be worth to upgrade. The dinner options were too fancy for our tastes, but there are many restaurants nearby with the closest being about 3 minutes by car. We would love to return soon.

Excellent but excellent place! Pictures can’t describe the beauty of it! The Resort is amazing, staff amazing, food amazing … wish the food could have been served also after 9:30 pm… I would give this place over 5 stars if I could have.

The property itself is gorgeous. The only downsides are 1. food on resort is a bit of a miss (not enough simple, local dishes in favor of fancy over-the-top dishes ) although breakfast was lovely and 2 you have to have a car to get to Tropea as the resort is isolated and there is not much to do in terms of activities or entertainment. If the weather is nice, you are in for a treat because their beach staff is impeccable and their grounds are breathtaking.

Great for kids

Fabulous stay, as last years (we are return guests, as is most of the hotels guests). Perfect service, outstanding food, gorgeous property, nice sandy beach (however with rocks in the water, perfection doesnt exist), the water in the sea is surreal clean, perfect family holidays spot ! But quality and exclusivity comes with a price ! This is not a bargain price hotel !!! We will save money and come back next year for sure. What a delightful small property !

A very interesting resort. The accommodation itself is very good and the grounds are neat and well maintained. Service is conscientious but a bit of a mixed bag because a lot of the staff do not speak good English. The resort does seem to be popular with German and local guests - the main languages spoken by staff seem to be Italian and German. For those who take a meal package, there is a very good selection for breakfast and dinner, and the quality is generally high, although it takes a while to understand the dinner offering; some nights are full buffet whereas other nights are buffet for appetisers but a la carte for main. Wine choice is relatively limited and the cocktail bar staff's repertoire (even for menu items) is limited. But overall a lovely spot on a glorious beach and a generally positive and good value experience for a beach break with young kids.

The Baia del Sole wasn't open in time for our stay, but they kindly set us up at a beautiful hotel the Capivaticano Thelessa Spa which was stunning and had an amazing breakfast. Very helpful and hard working staff. Thank you for such a great stay!!

The resort was spotless, the landscaping perfect, incredibly zen. Only complaint is need water shoes as there are rocks in the water. Breakfast was included and the food was amazing. We were not as impressed with the buffet supper meals that were offered. We also enjoyed visiting Tropea.
