Great hotel in Bilbao that is walkable to the museum

Absolutely love this property, this was my third stay there. The location is excellent and the staff was incredible. The only place I want to stay in Bilbao.

An EXCELLENT stay. The service was impeccable - Luis at the door was attentive and greeted us with true kindness. Sandra, the concierge, helped us with a medical issue with speed. Jon at the rooftop terrace was so friendly with beach advice and plenty of coffee. We stayed in one of the smart interior rooms and the bed was comfortable and temperature, cool, after many very hot days in Galicia. Thank you so much. Top notch time.

The good stuff first. Excellent interaction with all staff at all levels. Outstanding breakfast with good selection both from the menu and buffet. If you want anything toasted just ask they are happy to oblige. The mimosas were a nice touch. Second the dissatisfied stuff. From our city view room every night we were disturbed by the club across the road turning out at 4am. There was no lighting when accessing the wardrobes next to the room entry door. The internet TV was constantly cutting out requiring a re boot every 45 minutes. We found this very annoying. All you want in the morning is to have a cup of coffee Twice on a three day stay we had to call Reception because house keeping had forgotten to replenish our supply. Only to be told by Reception “we must have drunk it and any more would be charged for” NO …. HOUSE KEEPING DIDN’T DO THEIR JOB. We were given free parking as compensation which was appreciated.

Modern hotel conveniently located across from Guggenheim. Great restaurant and most spectacular breakfast on rooftop with fantastic views onto the museum.

Excellent location across from the Guggenheim museum. Nice walk to old town for pintxos, close to shopping and restaurants. Also enjoyed the bar at the hotel. Front desk staff was really helpful. Room was clean & comfortable, plenty of room to spread out and relax. Would stay here again!

This was a repeat visit as the location can’t be beaten. Overall this is an excellent hotel with a couple of niggles on this occasion - the main one being that we had requested a double and a twin room but on arrival were given two doubles with no communication of that fact in advance (it was not going to be suitable for us and it was just luck that they could move one room and took a bit of pressing on our part). Internal facing rooms are a bit dark and claustrophobic but spacious. Small spa and rooftop bar very nice. Can’t comment on food as we breakfasted at a local cafe.

One of the finest hotels I have stayed at in my life, and I have stayed at some of the nicest hotels in North America, Europe and Asia.

One of the best hotels that we stayed in while traveling Spain. Top notch and modern facilities, very friendly staff, and a great location with Guggenheim museum across the hotel. Our room was super spacious with separate area for a big bathroom and shower. The bar on the top floor and restaurant on the ground floor were both great. Overall a very pleasant stay in Bilbao and Hotel the Art!

Great hotel with a great view! The staff is super lovely. Great location, you can walk anywhere you want from it and a cracker of a rooftop for drinks and nibbles.
