Really high prices for an older property. Our a/c unit kept freezing up and finally shut down. Needs renovation And vending machines were going in/out of order. I would look elsewhere if I return.

There was an issue with the light over the sink and there were no bulbs available to replace it. The front desk staff and the manager went above and beyond to communicate with us. Due to the inconvenience of not having a light to see to brush teeth, apply makeup, fix hair, etc., we are being issued a partial refund. Despite this issue, I would stay here again due to the excellent communication and customer service!

Needed to visit North Dakota to have visited all 50 states. I also wanted to visit Theodore Roosevelt national park. Hotel is at entrance. Stayed 2 nights. Hotel is dated but clean and quiet and next to park. First time we showed we found room has no hair dryer you have to go to front desk never seen that before. Second issue they don’t make up your room for people staying over due to staffing shortages. I paid $300 a night.

Nice enough place to stay. Expensive, but not a lot of options right there in Medora, so that's what you get. Shower rod was falling off the wall so the curtain wouldn't stay closed, and water would get everywhere, which was a bummer, especially with kids showering.

A good place to stay for a couple of nights. The hotel was welcoming and convenient. The facilities were good with a pool and a guest laundry.

The room was good, staff was friendly the breakfast was terrible. The eggs were lukewarm, the biscuits were cold, gravy was warm not hot and juice machine didn’t work. We told the front desk guy about the situation and he said the juice machine was probably not bled and acted like we should do it. He should have had someone fix it however we just left The hotel was not worth the price we had to pay.

Cannot get any more conveniently located to everything you'll come to Medora for. Only negative is the price - definitely gouging tourists.

Very convenient to downtown. The town is adorable it’s still set up like an old tyme town. There is so much history in that town also. Very close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It was nice to be able to drive out of the park and go straight to the hotel. Will definitely be back.

Definitely some pros and cons for this hotel. Pros: it has a great location, near the entrance to the National Park and walkable to downtown Medora. Cons: this hotel is dated and expensive. The rooms have uncomfortable beds that likely have not been updated in quite a while, which makes getting a good night sleep a challenge. The rooms also have no modern conveniences. The TVs are old and the electrical outlets cannot hold a plug (and of course there are no USB outlets of any kind). The property in general has a rundown feel to it. There are limited options in Medora, but this is not that great.

Large pushbroom, rake and construction material at entrance of hotel. Front of hotel is very dull. Needs some shrubs/flowers. Should have stayed at rough riders hotel.
