The staff at the hotel where great and very professional and made our stay that much more enjoyable. This charming hotel is in great location, 15 mins for airport and 1 block away from main train station in Florance. The breakfast was excellence and I continue to rave about the service and accommodations they provided me and my family.

The staff could not have been nice or more helpful-they emailed suggestions for things to do in Florence, as well as Venice (our next destination). The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. My only complaint was the small size of the rooms and street noise at night, neither of which are able to be modified.

Great location to the train station, as well as local attractions. The staff were outstanding with offering assistance to buying advance tickets to attractions, finding a tour guide (Paola) and restaurant reservations. Very highly recommended. Caio from 🇨🇦

What an amazing room. 2 bedrooms with 1 King Size bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in another room. 2 bathrooms with 2 showers and 1 toilet.

Beautiful hotel located very close to both the train station and Piazza Santa Maria Novella. Rooms were spacious nice. Hotel staff were very helpful. Room did not seem to have air conditioning so we slept with the window open with noise from street and mosquitos. In hindsight, should have asked the staff for a solution that did not involve the window.

We loved the room’s tasteful and unique decor, which added to its charm. It was also spotlessly clean. We appreciated the complimentary condiments, refreshments, and beverages. However, we did miss having a microwave, as it would have been helpful with little kids. The location was highly walkable—we arrived by train, and it took us just eight minutes on foot. The included breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we highly recommend it.

Beautifully decorated historic building which once served as a palace. Our triple room was spacious, with two shower rooms and high ceilings. The breakfast selection was the best we had during our Italy trip. Staff were very friendly. Location was perfect - easy to walk to the main train station and also all the attractions are just within walking distance. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Also the oldest pharmacy in the world is one minute walk away. Overall we enjoyed our stay and recommend to anyone wanting to get a true feel of Florence.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Very well renovated. The room is a bit small. You can book a bigger room at an extra cost. The wardrobe is beautiful but not practical. Staying in this beautiful place was a unique experience. Very close to sightseeing and very good transport links. Nice places where to eat nearby.

A few days stay with 2 small kids and we had a wonderful time here. all the staff were very kind and helpful. and the room was well maintained.

Conveniently close to Firenze S.M.N. Station. Area around the station is what you would expect from a big station in an important city. The employees at the hotel were courteous and professional. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and a good way to start your day. Easy walk to several sites and restaurants. Had our best meal at a restaurant recommended by the hotel staff, just a couple of blocks away. Accademia was an easy 15ish minute walk away. Our quadruple room was spacious and comfortable.

I chose this hotel as it was central, convenient for the tram link to the airport and the price was affordable. I travel solo so had booked a single room. The room appeared fine at first, it is an old building so I was not expecting all modern conveniences but there could be some improvements, such as a larger table / desk in the bedroom as everything was very cluttered. There was a mini fridge and safe in wardrobe but neither worked. Someone came to sort the safe out on two consecutive days but it was still faulty so I abandoned using it. There was air conditioning which I did not need, and a hairdryer. I could have requested an iron if I needed one. There was also a kettle etc in the room, which took up most of the very small table provided. There was a large TV on the wall showing several English language news programmes but not much else in English. However the WiFi in my room was very good so I could watch films on my iPad and listen to my podcasts. The shower in the shower room was very small but there were large, new towels provided. Hot water took a while to arrive but when it arrived it was consistent. The communal areas of the hotel were lovely. This is where breakfast is served and there is a small bar open in the evenings. There are some historic friezes on the wall in the small inside restaurant and great ceilings. There was a small seating area at the back of my room which was adjacent to the back of the restaurant and bar, so there was some noise escape.

The toilet on the floor edges had mold and I'm very particular about that.

Excellent older hotel with great amenities and a nice breakfast. The staff was very professional and accommodating. Definitely recommend.
