Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned everyday and they would leave 2 bottles of water everyday. It is an old hotel, I believe its 119 years something like that. We stayed in a 2 bedroom room. It had a mini bar, an iron and ironing board. Beds were very, very soft, and shaky, they felt like water beds. Restroom was small, we had a bathtub. Shower head had a lot of pressure that the water would splashed everywhere and we had to put towels on the floor as there was a lot of water.

Our one week stay was excellent. This is a very refined hotel offering gracious and highly professional service in a sophisticated traditional setting. An all round beautiful experience not to be missed if visiting CDMX. We have travelled the world and rate Hotel Geneve as very good value PS - great breakfast!

the hotel is very old and not maintained at all. not a 4 star. carpets were in bad condition; broken bathroom tiles; peeling cabinets; bathroom smells. Do not recommend at all. we had booked an air and hotel package otherwise i would have left.

I really enjoyed the stay here. It definitely has charm and history. The location is convenient. We walked to the Arena Mexico from there, not a short walk but reasonable and felt safe. It is an older hotel so it doesn't have all the amenities of a newer space but I definitely would choose Geneve again. And the price was excellent!

I reserved a Deluxe room through the hotel’s website, which was advertised as 388 sq ft, including a table and a larger bathroom. However, when I arrived, the staff informed me that they were very busy and gave me a smaller room instead. Last note the room didn’t have smoke detector. They also charged me $55 for early check-in, but did not offer any refund or price adjustment for providing a smaller room than the one I originally reserved. Overall, the staff were very friendly, and the place is decent and well located. It’s in a great location for visiting the main attractions of the city.

Location is the best for exploring and nightlife. There's much to see just walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is beautiful and a wonderful hostorical place.
