Pros: Friendly staff. Cons: Breakfast did not taste fresh. The rooms did not have good ventilation—humid and stuffy. Front doors were very heavy—difficult to close fully. Very dark hallways.

Excellent hotel with nice people.

The Galmont is a bright, clean modern hotel. Staff are friendly and always keen to lend an umbrella. A short walk to the town centre makes going out for dinner, to pubs, etc. very easy. We would stay again. The only complaint is about the breakfast…more healthy options needed.

Main issue was that the hotel charges residents for parking. This is just unacceptable. They offer a reduced parking rate for guests but just not good enough. Should be included with room. When I complained upon check in. they removed the fee. Also attended a ball at the hotel. Know mass produced meals will never be of high standard but their main course steak meal was of quite poor standard

The carpet in the hallways need updated. It is an older hotel but kept clean.

Great breakfest buffet and breakfast manager was accomodating. slightly off the beaten track, but property more than makes up for it. Hot tub jets on off process seems ridiculous

We really liked the hotel. Unfortunately our neighbors were making a lot of noise at all hours at night, well after midnight and the hotel staff did little to fix the situation.

The hotel location is amazing, your a five minute walk to the main city centre. The location couldn’t be better, parking was easy to get to, checking in was easy and smooth. The only concern I had was the following, I’m 6 foot 2 they have a tub shower instead of a stand alone shower. I found it to be cramped and the shower didn’t have a curtain. So the floor was always wet even with the shower towel they provide you. This may be picky, but we had to ask for face cloths they didn’t have them in the room. But over all we had a great time, breakfast was great and the seafood at the restaurant was top notch. Highly recommend the mussel.

Wonderful hotel, comfy bed, very clean. Great breakfast got discount at hotel. Gym, pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, wonderful stay.

Noisy rooms and gym doesn’t open until 8am on weekends.

First time visiting The Galmont, although the food was exquisite, some of the services let it down very badly! Róisín on reception was very good with an excellent check-in! Room 501 is a lovely room

This was a truly outstanding luxurious hotel. Loved our stay here, it was a perfect 5/5 stars in all the ways. 100 % recommend and will stay here again. Also want to acknowledge the outstanding customer service of Gonzalo. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Thank you!

Room was very comfortable. Food at both breakfast and dinner was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel in a great location, easy to walk into town etc.

Lovely Place

Staff was lovely, great location for hotel. Had a very long wait for breakfast of 35mins. So need to be down early.

The breakfast was nice, but could do with the hot breakfast more hot cause it was just warm. The sausages could be cooked more. Other then that it is a great hotel. Good location & the staff are very friendly & great at their job. We have stead here 3 times & we will be back again.

Very nice stay staff are very welcoming very friendly, helpfuland really appreciated the complimentary drinks voucher. Would definitely recommend, Not too far a walk to Eyre Square either.
