Fantastic location!!! In my opinion, there isn’t a better location in Vancouver proper. It isn’t near a sky train station but the bus stop is literally right in front of the hotel, you’re right around the corner from English Bay, and Stanley Park is one block away. The hotel looks a little run down on the outside and in the lobby but the rooms are very nicely renovated and very clean. The attached pub had great happy hour specials and the food was good.

Perfect hotel so close to the beach and great restaurants. The community the hotel is in is such a lovely vibrant area. Great to stay if you love walking to see all the attractions.

Great stay

The beach view was obstructed. No safe in room. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Avoid low numbered rooms on the Davies St side as you won’t see the water. We were in 502. So no view.

The pictures of the hotel are quite misleading, it gives the impression that it is on the beach, but in fact it is a short walk, the view is mainly obstructed by a large colourful high-rise building. If you want a peaceful night's sleep you'll need industrial strength ear plugs as you are on the main road and you'll hear people shouting and cars blowing their horns regularly. The staff in the hotel were ok, the area for breakfast was a sports bar, so if you wanted a quiet breakfast you'll have no chance as your senses will be assaulted from every angle, plus side it's ok for the evening (Red Umbrella up the road a much better option). If you want a place close to the nightlife this place will suit you.

Everything is great. Location is best, cannot beat this at all. If I ever come back in this area, definitely will come back to this hotel.

This was not well maintained and very loud around here

Location is excellent for walking to the beach and Stanley Park, it’s even a fairly easy walk to the IMAX theatre. Parking is tricky as entrance to parking is at the back of the building not on street front and spots are narrow. We used the restaurant for a dinner, food and service were great but it is a sports bar and it was extremely noisy (we were 2 adults but certainly too loud to have children or older adults as you couldn’t carry on a conversation). Room was clean and had a fridge and microwave which was nice to have when staying a few nights. Though space in room was tight. Our room opened to the busy Davie street and had a balcony so fun to watch the passing traffic but noisy and it also got direct sunlight in the daytime and thus the room heated up like an oven. Air conditioning worked but blows right onto a bed. Over all we enjoyed the location and would rate the facility as “average”.

Great location

Newly renovated room. Bathroom extremely clean. Bed really comfortable. Front desk staff was always super friendly. Very close to all the main tourist attractions and public transportation. Only downside is tv was really old and didn't get a lot of channels.

Super convenient location downtown. Covered parking. Good restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice room with comfy beds.

Excellent location, near everything in the area. Room was a little small, AC was loud, outside noise kept us up. The elevator was outdated and one of them was out for our entire stay. Staff was wonderful and room was clean. I would be on the fence to stay there again.

The room was nice, however the AC window unit was loud and so was the noise from the street. The staff was friendly & helpful. 5 stars for them. Breakfast was great. The portions were quite large and personnaly would have liked to see more lighter/smaller options.We enjoyed our stay and the location was great.
