Initially, I was placed in a room that had a chair that looked as if it was straight from the dumpster. It reeked urine. I was horrified and discombobulated. The bed smelled of stinky feet. I sprayed the room and furniture with Lysol and it did not help. I was transferred to another room and it was a little better. The staff were friendly and nice. However, The experience has left me with feeling very disappointed. Looking back, I am entitled to a refund, at least partially. This place was more like a motel than a hotel. I will not be returning. Linens should be cleaned and changed per every check out visit and that means the entire bed linen changed, pillows, sheets, and spread. Customers should not be subjected to what I experienced. Especially, considering what is charged to stay at the hotel facility.

Did not try the breakfast. The bed is lumpy and fitted sheet was too small for bed. It would not stay in place. The young lady at check in wasn't rude, nor was she friendly at all. Very little to say and mumbled when she did speak.

When we arrived, our room had been given away and we were charged the same rate for a room that cost significantly less per night than the one I initially booked on Hotels.com. We were able to move into the room we originally booked the next morning, from a room with two queen beds into the king bed suite (which is what I originally purchased). Both rooms had bugs in the bathroom. In the king suite (which should have been cleaned directly before we moved into it), I opened the shower curtain and found a dead spider in it. The compartments for the towels and the toilet paper holder also had dust inside. I put a brand new pair of socks on my two year old and after only a couple of minutes of walking on the carpet in our room, the bottom of his socks were filthy, like the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed in months. When my husband asked the housekeeper if she could come back to clean in 30 minutes to give us time to leave the room, she replied she only cleaned from 9-10am and wouldn’t be able to come back that day. To my knowledge, our room was never cleaned during our week-long stay. Finally, there was the pool. We took our son, niece and nephew to swim and the pool walls were covered in algae, the bottom of the pool was filthy, and there was all kinds of plastic and debris floating in it. The staff did clean it the next day, but we never tried to use it again. The front desk staff was extremely kind and friendly, but the damage had already been done.

Good for the money. Not far from the beach or the Hanna Preserve. It was quiet and clean. Carpet needs upgrade but that is coming soon. Staff was super friendly and free breakfast was good!

I liked it was close to Mayport base and a great breakfast joint called Eggboy. The staff was nice. I have to ask to cancel the rest of my stay after the first night as there was several GIANT cockroaches in my room, and it smelled very musky and dirty.

We booked last minute but they were very professional, nice and welcoming. The water pressure was amazing! The room was spotless and we like the bed; it was hard but comfortable and the pillows were in good condition. Breakfast was so-so. The protein was hash, not really our jam, but it is what it is for a decent priced room. Also, pool was small and underwhelming
