I have to be honest but the hotel looked completely different in a negative way compared to what i first saw on the app and on the hotel official website. Me and my girlfriend stayed for 15 days and had high expectations from the pictures and some of the reviewers we saw online. The room was very basic,bathroom toilet very dirty and very run down. Which was not ideal due to my girlfriend recovering from a operation in spain. The rooftop poor is very small,very cold and looked old and run down. The gym looked very old and completely different to what you see on the hotel website just like the pool. Only positives i can say is that the staff was very good and efficient. The location of the hotel is excellent close to loads of restaurants,sites,city centre and bars. And if like the beach you can get a cab to the beach which is like a 12 15 minutes drive there. But overall i think the hotel is more a 3 star then a 4 star hotel for sure

Reception staff friendly and helpful. The photos of pool area very deceptive. Pool is tiny with just a few sunbeds crammed in a small space. Awful fake grass around pool. Not a pleasant area to be.

Pool is ok a bit small but nice Shops were near city centre only 15minutes on bus from just out side the hotel

A very mediocre stay.

The hotel was in good place, and the breakfast was super. The staff were helpful and supportive. The issue was that on my third day, the lights in my room went off (after a strong noise). The hotel gave a new temporary room and was able to move that room. The second issue was that there were not staffed to help us to move our belongings to the new room (it was late night) and also the door of the first room did not work well with a low battery access card.

Positive:- 3 sets of lifts, so there was no waiting getting to your room, large balcony. The breakfast was fine, location was good. What I did not like was deep bath to step into out of, which was not clean on arrival!, The room was in need of updating especially as we had the so called EXECUTIVE SUIT, no cups or spoons with the kettle, balcony door did not lock, wardrobe door flapping around. Only a news channel for British travellers, unless your able to translate. The internet was totally unreliable, even though it was reported nothing done.

We booked a night at this hotel for our golden wedding anniversary, as it was a special anniversary we booked a suite. The suite was clean and comfortable although a little tired. But it was a nice room. Unfortunately at 02.45 we were awoken by water pouring through the bathroom ceiling from the room above, it was also running through to the hallway. We tried to ring through to the reception but that line was dead, so my husband had to go down to reception where he was told, all we can do is move you to another room. Reception then gave him another room key. So at 03.30 we’re having to pack up everything in our room and move to the next room. For this upheaval and wet belongings we were given a refund of 20% €34! We sent an email to Victor Valero to reassess the refund, but was told that no, that decision stands. Nice hotel until something goes wrong.

El hotel es divino pero no hay aire acondicionado en la habitación es solo calefacción, yo soy de Estados Unidos y estamos acostumbrados al aire , pero bueno me dijeron que abriéramos las ventanas , así lo hice y pudimos dormir mejor, es el mes de la Fallas y los fuegos artificiales no te dejan dormir bien, elige otro mes .

First, very nice friendly and attentive staff. HVC is conveniently located and a short walk to Old Town and the beach area. Lots of good restaurants and near 2 big shopping malls.

A visit for the Valencia half marathon. The hotel was excellent, convenient for the race, whether running or viewing, comfortable, great breakfast buffet and welcoming staff. Easy to get into the city centre and across to the City of Arts and Sciences area.

Good hotel in a nice location. Handy for the parks and aquarium.
