This is an older hotel. We have stayed at several times. This time the staff at the front desk was not particularly welcoming or friendly. We had traveled a long distance and had stopped by early in the day to ask if they could please notify us when the room was ready, a woman at the desk informed us that they would not be possible that they do not notify people if their rooms are right under any circumstances. But we should just come back later in the day. Rooms are not being serviced at this hotel at all, they are still in a Covid mode, and we got the impression they will not service rooms going forward, no matter how long to stay. we were seeing short time so this was not too big a deal, but if I was staying longer I would not be happy about this. We have stayed here several times over the last several years and it seems as if the property is not being maintained as well as it was in the past. Still an OK place, for a short day, but I’m not sure I would consider it in the future

Amazing time we had!

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Less than 2 minutes from the upper Stowe village without the traffic.

Stayed overnight after a full day of skiing. Check in was easy. The staff was super friendly. I requested a cot and a fan. In minutes the staff fulfilled my request. I would stay here again.

Great staff

Very friendly staff. Best place for the ski vacation, slightly cheaper form the other places and had free public transport to the slopes.

The hotel was meticulously clean and the staff were professional and courteous. The hotel needs a major overhaul, the interior is old, outdated and threadbare. Stowe is an expensive area and we paid $230/night for a room that would be $80 somewhere else.

No breakfast.Bar and restaurant still advertised but closed.Carpets stained and dirty in room Wall paper peeling. Very outdated Toilet continously running.

The place was good and affordable

Matt at the front desk was awesome!

Carpets were very well worn and linens seemed well loved. Hot tubs were cool but not super hot. Wear shoes when walking around in your room. Had a very nostalgic feel. Had character.

Hospitality of staff. Easy check in and check out. Very nice to have fresh coffee all day and access to a toaster and microwave. Used the kitchen area in the lobby every morning.

Older style motel it was kept clean the hot tub pool area was also very clean the room and bed was very comfortable, the parking was very limited

We had a great stay at the Commodore Inn. Property was clean and staff were friendly.

Hotel is a good value. Room was clean and the staff was friendly. I would stay here again. Highly Recommended!
