The Persian Suite: The main highlight of this property are the jet tubs. However, when we filled ours and turned on the jets, penny-sized dirt chips began to circulate. The stopper was missing its ring, making it difficult to pull once the tub was full. We cannot use that. The bathroom had been renovated, but the glass door was poorly balanced—closing was easy, but opening was a struggle. There were no hooks, and the rail stopper failed to prevent the door from hitting the adjacent glass panel. Storage was minimal, consisting only of glass tables with no drawers. The room had just one bedside lamp and lacked bed chests. There were only two hangers provided in the built-in closet. Outside light from the glass partition illuminated the room during the night. The bed and pillows were extremely firm. The bed was covered under the sheets with protective plastic. As for the chandelier, though designed for five bulbs, only two were present.

What a fun little place. Our room has a desert theme. The spa inside the room was a real treat. The courtyard was very cute.

The front office was very polite and accommodating. I needed a different room. It was taken care of quickly. I would absolutely stay here again!

A/C didn’t work. It was a fan. WiFi didn’t work. TV didn’t work for hours because the owner wasn’t there to take a look at it. Asked if we could switch rooms, and we were told no. The place was empty. Owner came over and argued about the AC telling us it was working (It was not, and the room stayed very hot), also argued with us telling us the WiFi was working (It was not). The themed rooms were cute, and you can tell someone cared a lot about creating them, but the lack of very basic amenities and an argumentative owner make this a do not stay.

We came here for the weekend to visit the local preserves and JT. Place has a beautiful rose garden. Pool was cold but Jacuzzi was nice. Need new pool furniture. The service there was spectacular. Nice people!

We stayed only one night as a landing pad for Joshua Tree National Park, and it was perfectly adequate to our needs.

Room had a musky odor. Paid for mountain view, but got a "wall" view. Old furniture.

America's Best Value Inn in Yucca Valley is a convenient and nice place to stay as a base for which to explore Joshua Tree Park and other nearby attractions such as Pioneer Town, Coachella Valley, and nearby Oases. The room was clean but we ran out of toilet paper after two days and I had to get more from the front desk first thing in the morning. They were happy to give me some, but maybe they should have a couple rolls in each room just in case. The hotel is right next to a nifty little movie theater which is great for escaping the heat in the mid afternoon. We watched Looney Tunes: The Day The Earth Blew Up, and it was hilarious. The theater also serves hot food such as pizza, hotdogs, burgers, hot wings, nachos, etc, so you can eat lunch while you watch a movie in the plcool and dark. Also they never sit you next to others so there is always lots of space, and admission is Totes McGoats affordable. The pool was nice and cold and the hot tub worked well. Great for a soak at any time of the day until 10:30pm. Lots of local eateries including Mexican, pizza, diner food, Thai, hippy dippy, vegetarian, and health food options. There is a balcony for relaxing too. One night there were some loud guests partying in the parking lot but I was awake late anyways so they didn't bother me. They were listening to their car stereo. There is a cool little record shop called HooDoo Records just up the road, and the guy there is a punk music aficionado who loves to chat.

The front counter lied about not having the room available and wouldn’t give me a key thinking I was bringing someone else in

Cockroach in the bathroom. Hot tub in room was broken. Needed to go to Walmart in the middle of the night to grab a space heater because the heater in the room kept shutting off even though the room never got comfortably warm.

The rooms are clean. The heater works well with no weird smells or anything. Check in was smooth. No house keeping each day during your stay. Bed is not the most comfortable it needs more cushion.

Decent. Hairs on bed. Staff ok. It’s adequate for an evening before going to the park.
