One of the many trips to this hotel. Staff is friendly and dillingent. Rooms are clean and quiet. Spa and gym are OK. I wish that there will be more vegan options for breakfast.

Nice location close to parks and city center. Basic breakfast you can expect from Scandic. Good gym and they also have a pool. Free parking!

Hotel building itself is probably from 80'es but rooms and restaurant are recently renovated and in excellent condition. Hotel is directly at lakeside and short walking distance from harbour and about an 1km fro marketplace.

Good city get-away trip

An excellent location gives a smiley face. The hotel was also peaceful and very clean. The breakfast buffet was modest.

Nice clean Hotel, although age is starting to show up at the premises. Poll and sauna at hotel. Room was clean and quiet, but with 2 kids there was not a lot of room. The hotel is little off the city centre, about 20 minutes walk away. Rentable scooters at hotel. 4.90 euro / 30 minutes. A little expensive considering the age of the hotel but good stay. Breakfast was a rich buffee table.

Lovely room with a lake view. Nice surroundings for walks by the lake and 10min walk to city center. Good breakfast but we did miss having fresh fish in the breakfast table. Friendly staff.

Perfectly located for whatever you are planning to do in Kuopio. Nice rooms, perfect breakfast buffet (you find all you need and it is freshly prepared).

Nice, clean hotel with very friendly staff, close to the city and not far from Kuopio University, food was good and staff speak very good English.The hotel has a small indoor pool, sauna and a Jacuzzi. There is a small gym as well but I didn`t use it. Good running areas near by close to the lake, then continues into a green area.

Decent hotel about 20 minutes walking distance from the city center. The hotel has a path in the back alongside a nice lake also seen from breakfast room. Breakfast is good. Hotel room was fair size. No-frills bathroom has everything you need. Staff is pleasant. Gym is decent.
