Very reasonably priced. Loved the location. Easy walk to subway, bus and tram. Grocery store and food options near by. Nice little walking/running trail along the shore. Great for families. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Will definitely stay here again when I come back to visit my family in Stockholm.

Very good breakfast, very comfortable beds. But not possible to book a parking spot, the parking belongs to a vendor. Soundproof in rooms is poor.

Convenient, moderately-priced hotel for the Stockholm area

The Scandic Alvik Hotel is an excellent moderately expensive choice for the Stockholm area.

Excellent location for the hotel, close to train line and shops. Very handy when travelling with a little one. Hotel room was clean and tidy and great shower and bath facilities. Cot was missed off the booking but brought up within an hour.

We had a great time at the Scandic Alvik. The family room was quiet and spotless. We enjoyed the 'relax' (Swenglish for sauna suite) and had a delicious dinner in the restaurant, taking advantage of the offer for children to eat at 50% off. The breakfasts as Scandic are always fantastic and we particularly enjoyed the bircher muesli, the ginger shots and the full English. My children are already asking if we can return there again. The only thing that wasn't great was perhaps the view from our window, overlooking a car park. However, with the shore of Lake Mälaren nearby, you can get scenery a two minute walk away.

We chose this hotel because it was right next to our customer's office. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. It's very close to Alvik station if you need to take a train/ tram/bus. The breakfast was also very good with lots of choices.

This hotel had a good price, and i got it recommended by a friend. The room was a standard room and worked just fine. Space to move around and toilet with a rather large shower. Breakfast was not huge, but it had everything you wanted so I didnt miss anything there, and everything was really nice. Serviceminded workers and other staff in the hotel made the visit.

The breakfast was awesome at every Scandic! The Alvik location was perfect for our needs and so very close to the metro/train. Everything worked out perfectly!

Excellent place to stay, relatively near the center of Stockholm while not being too centric and hectic. There is a T station and access to many buses nearby, and the town of Alvik is quiet, but it still has a supermarket and several eating places.

The front desk staff Ebba and Markus was very nice and helpful att check in.

Friendly staff, comfortable well sized room (family room) good location and good facilities. Definitely recommend and will stay here again when we hopefully return to Sweden.

Good hotel although I think we got the room with the worst view, looking straight into the ventilation drum, a big one. Not the end of the world, since we were only sleeping there, but I don’t think the hotel was full, so… Another thing is that they don’t have sewing kits even at the reception. Not a huge deal, but my jacket ripped in the sleeve and I wanted to fix it but had to wait till I got home. Great breakfast and we had one dinner there which was really good!
