Clean and convenient.

I arrived at the EconoLodge to find it under renovation. All the rooms on the ground floor were unavailable due to renovations. I had to take a second-floor room: the elevator was not working, so I had to take the stairs. Not an easy task for someone using a cane. At least the manager helped with the luggage. I would not have stayed at the EconoLodge if I was made aware of the renovations and their impact. The rooms are clean and functional. The bathroom sink was a bit wonky. The climate control is outdated and must be replaced. The radio-alarm, a normal feature in most hotels, did not work. At night, the hotel was quiet, so at least I got some sleep.

Property under construction, breakfast cancelled. Bathroom door didn’t close , front door to room rattled . Black spot on sheet, shower wall needed replacement.

Very old hotel could use a serious reno. Weird smell in the hallways and way too many stairs! Be warned NO ELEVATORS!!

Bathroom was newly renovated. Accessing the room was slightly complicated in the winter. Very comfortable bed. Hotel is definitely from another era. Friendly staff.

Room OK

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. It was much smaller than pictured, but did the trick. The door does not have a childproof/security lock or latch. Hallway was very loud in the mornings. Appreciated having a fridge and microwave.

The room was fine. The hotel is not in a very nice area - hard to tell when you are booking. There are no elevators. I was on the second floor - I am a pretty fit person with only carryon luggage - but if you have more luggage and are not super fit - it could be a problem. The continental breakfast was good no more no less than I expected but the breakfast room was rather barren. This is a fine hotel and the staff was helpful but I don't think I would stay here again.

Clean room

The room was very clean. Especially loved that there was no carpet. The location is quiet. I heard no outside noises. It was a cool day and night so I did not use the AC. I also did not go down for breakfast so I cannot provide a rating. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Friendliness and clean room

I booked the wrong day accidentally!! They wouldn’t answer Expedia’s attempts to change the day! When I called to change the date they wouldn’t. Each one is blaming the other so my money is not being returned by either party!! When I went into the property the minute I made the mistake, the front desk person was Very cold & mean looking. No empathy that I was lost with no money or room in a new city! Very upset…. I’m never booking through Expedia or the any Econo Lodges EVER AGAIN

The service from the manager and the rest of the staff was very very good! Clean, friendl,y and reasonable - A great stay - highly recommended!
