The bar and the breakfast were both excellent!

What stood out most is the staff. Very friendly, welcoming, professional, helpful and genuine in their everyday interactions with guests. We got help parking our car upon arrival, enjoyed their daily happy hour and dessert offerings, and their daily included breakfast was simply amazing! The charm of the hotel decor, and the beautiful view of the Tuscan hills from our corner suite made it feel like we were transported in time. Walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants and 1 hour day trip drives to other towns made this hotel an ideal base for our week long stay. Highly recommend!

I can't recommend the Marsili highly enough. The property is perfectly situated just on the outskirts of Cortona center. A 5 minute walk and you are exploring a fascinating, casual, friendly, safe and fun neighborhood. Every member of the staff went out of their way to meet our needs. We loved the breakfast as it was different daily and so delicious. The rooms were large and comfortable. We sat up in bed in the morning to outstanding views of the valley. It was out of a painting.

The location for this hotel was absolutely perfect. Perfect location. Dreamy town. The hotel staff was friendly… literally everyone. The hotel was spotless, the linens were soft, and breakfast was beautiful. The tables were set with linens and silverware and the servers brought freshly made coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice upon request. Guests help themselves to a full breakfast buffet with unique options, like rolled omelettes, stuffed tomatoes, vegetables, but there are also pastries and freshly made jams. I couldn’t have been happier with our experience.

If you like elegant antique ambiance this is the place to stay. Incredible attention to detail from the rooms to the lobby, breakfast was fantastic and staff couldn’t be more helpful and polite. Definitely coming back !

This hotel gets 5 stars in my book. The staff was welcoming as soon as we arrived and continued to be help throughout our stay. The rooms were old world elegant and so clean. The breakfast was world class, we have never had such large selections of food that were extremely delicious. They really go above and beyond to treat each of their guests like royalty.

This property is on top of the hill and has amazing views. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was spectacular, so many choices and it was all delicious. The breakfast staff was helpful offering drinks and making sure we were taken care of. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is quite large. Would give this hotel 4 stars.

One of my absolute favorite hotels in all of Italy!! The welcome I receive is always outstanding The staff is warm and personable. And don’t ever leave without enjoying their wonderful cappuccinos and breakfast! ♥️

This was such a beautiful place! We loved everything about it. The staff made us feel like we were at home with family. It was decorated so beautifully and our room was perfect! From the towels, and linens, to the furniture and rugs, it was impeccable. The breakfast was second to none with fresh fruit, pastries, savory items and eggs to order. It was just delightful.

The hotel was ideally situated for convenient access to shops and restaurants in Cordona. It was close to parking, both free and paid. The rooms were nice and we loved the breakfast that was included. But the best part was the staff. They were both incredibly kind and very helpful.

Beautiful property and beautiful people working at this Villa. Marina is so welcoming and friendly along with the rest of the staff. Delicious breakfast buffet and snacks, cookies in the evening. Walkable to the city center within 5 minutes. I will definitely return!

This seems to be a converted villa. Beautifully done. The staff is warm and very accommodating. Outstanding, really. Our room was very comfortable. King bed, writing desk, table and chairs for in-room dining. Large, well appointed bath and plenty of closet space. The abundant, expertly prepared breakfast each morning was incredible. There’s a happy hour in the evening with snacks and a cash bar. It’s 5 minutes to the flat street with shops and restaurants. We’ll be visiting them again

Great central location, short walk to city center outside ZTL. Staff is VERY accommodating. Rooms are decorated very opulently w. rich passimenterie & textiles, Murano glass chandelier & brass fixtures. Room and toilette are VERY large by EU standards! Happy hour complimentary snacks could almost serve as dinner. and breakfast is amazing. Omelettes, and eggs (fried or scrambled) made to order. Seriously one of the most opulent hotels we've ever stayed in, and we've traveled extensively.Not to mention the gorgeous views of the Tuscan countryside and Lake Tresamino. Fabulous stay!

Lovely boutique hotel within easy walking distance up a small hill to the center of town. Sonya and all the people were warm and welcoming! Beautiful service and a myriad of delicious choices for breakfast beautifully presented as well! Room was lovely, well appointed with perfect bedding. Impeccably clean. Shower was a bit on the small side. Prepare yourself for a lovely visit

We loved this hotel. Its staff is as helpful, willing, and present as at a very high-end hotel and as friendly and personable as at a cozy b&b. Our room was lovely--sunny, spacious, and comfortable--and the shower was perfect! The breakfast buffet in the morning was amazing, too. Two tables full of savory and sweet options including an array of cheeses, charcuterie, ricotta-stuffed zucchini flowers, asparagus wrapped in bacon, baby eggplant stuffed with tomatoes, polenta. There was fresh fruit, muesli, and yogurt, cakes, croissants, and custard tarts as well as the necessities of coffee and tea. In the evening there were nibbles available in the lounge and bar stocked with whatever you might desire. Everything was wonderful! I highly recommend this hotel for couples and, I think, for families. It's centrally located in Cortona--just 2 hills to climb to cafes, gelaterias, art galleries, museums--everything except the many other churches and gardens that are some 8 hills away.
