The hotel rooms were modern and very clean. Reception staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived several hours early but received a room right away. This is the only hotel we have ever stayed at that offered a free minibar stocked with soft drinks and beer.Free parking and wifi! Outstanding value for money.

Beautiful and cozy room with a really nice view. Breakfast in the morning was amazing. So many options and fresh orange juice that is squeezed right in front of you.

The Ascot was situated in a quiet area of Remscheid, perfect for sleeping after a grueling work day. The breakfast was fantastic, and got the day going perfectly. Unlike most of German hotels, the coffee was also very good, on a par with Italian and Swiss. The room was large for a European hotel, and very comfortable. The staff was welcoming, helpful and gracious. I could not have asked for more, and the moderate price per night was an added benefit.

Overall a good stay. Quiet, clean, and comfortable hotel in a small town about 45 mins from Cologne.

The hotel was very nice. We arrived late and called ahead and they left our key in mailbox which was perfect. The room was clean, quiet, and very spacious. They also had Sky TV so we could watch in English (which is nice sometimes). The breakfast was great a lot of options. The hotel is located in a fairly residential area but we stayed here to be able to visit Cologne and it was a quick drive to get there. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

Great little hotel, rooms are very modern and updated staff very friendly. Not much within walking distance except a couple of restaurants. I chose this hotel because of the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms.

The Ascot Hotel was a great stop for a family while visiting the area surrounding Koln, Germany. Remscheid sits a little bit outside of Koln, but the town and area are beautiful and there is plenty to do near the hotel. Would recommend it.

The location is within easy reach of Dusseldorf and Dortmund if you have a car and don't mind driving. The location of the hotel is good with nice views from the rooms and the restaurant. Breakfast buffet was worth paying for with freshly cooked food and a generous selection of things to eat for those looking for a hearty breakfast or those looking for a healthy option.

Great breakfast and good parking. Beds are European style, small but comfortable. Just perfect for a quick stop over for us overnight.

Fantastisk dejligt hotel. Så flot og fint værelse med dejligt badeværelse og siddeområde med udsigt på værelset. Desuden var der gratis minibar med øl, vand og sodavand. Meget hundevenligt. Vi fik et flot værelse. Blev ikke nedgraderet fordi vi havde hund med. Det eneste vi kunne have ønsket var, at der havde været et lufteområde udenfor. Der var gode parkeringsforhold. Man skulle op ad en stejl bakke til hotellet. Meget begejstret for dette hotel.
