Sharp transfer service from Athens airport.

Arrived with proof I had booked 2 rooms and they only showed 1, luckily they figured it out but the staff was not great about it. Also, no hair conditioner, just shampoo.

The hotel has beautiful views on 3 sides. It has easy access to the ferry port as well as fish markets and eateries on one side and a really nice public beach on the other. We had a nice breakfast buffet included and a shuttle to the airport. It was well above expectations.

The Avra Hotel lived up to the many reviews and we have no hesitation staying there again. It is not a Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons, but at the price you get a clean, quiet, friendly staffed facility away from the loud and chaotic buzz of Athens. Near by local restaurants featuring authentic Greek food at reasonable prices are also a plus. Tiny recommendation, email responses can be slow, so call them if you have any questions.

Appreciated the location & view of the water. Enjoyed having dinner over looking the sea!

Good location for transfers between the airport and ferries.

We stayed here mostly because of the free airport shuttle as we had one night in Athens before returning home. It was perfect for our needs. I don't think I would stay here for anything longer, but this hotel knows its audience. The shuttle was very convenient. The restaurant on site was decent and just what we needed after a day of travel. The beds were comfortable.

Mosquitos the size of my head in our room…counted 7 giant mosquitos in our bathroom. Luckily we were only in the room for one night and we were so sketched out by the place we ended up staying out all night so was only in the room for four hours. Left with bites and a tension headache.

All good, nice view, shuttle to the airport very punctual.

Easy mm

We always end our visit to Greece at the Avra. Such a lovely, relaxing place to relax after being in Greece for 2 months and before flying back to the US. The airport shuttle makes it even better. Lots of dining options, great seaside beach in season, and really good food on site if yiu don’t want to venture out.

Taxis in Athens are very expensive. We needed a place to stay for one night coming from Santorini. The hotel had a free shuttle. That’s why we picked it. I would strongly suggest you use this hotel. The beds were great, the staff was great and the big breakfast was free. It was a find!!!

We had a great stay. It is about 45 min to Athens though, so plan to take taxi or Uber.

This hotel is in an excellent location and provides an efficient and comfortable free airport shuttle. Our room’s shower had spectacular water pressure and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever had.

Served a purpose between ferries and flights, which was very convenient, especially with airport shuttle included, but otherwise, nothing special.
