This Hotel is not Service Dog friendly.

I stayed for two nights, was very impressed with hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Joquin on reception, I asked him if he could point me in the direction for breakfast, he personally took me to the restaurant, and carried my suitcase for me when I checked out. As I only stayed for two nights I put the do not disturb sign on the door as the room was fine, the cleaning lady was so nice, she came and asked if I needed any fresh towels. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, nice rooftop. But- the most uncomfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on and aircon struggled to keep the room cool. Overall fine but wouldn't stay again. More of a 3 star hotel than the proclaimed 4.

Just ok

The only suggestion I’d like to provide is to put “do not disturb” and “clean my room” signs on the rooms located on the first floor. Housekeeping wasn’t sure when the rooms were empty for cleaning or not going to the rooms due to the lack of those signs. The rest was amazing! Thanks!

Great room, awesome balcony. Loved the mini bar. Joaquin, front desk, reception rocks location could not be better.

What a pleasant surprise it was to check into our room with Damien, who showed us things to do around the hotel while we were waiting for our room to be cleaned. Once in our room, we found not one but two balconies. One enclosed with stained glass, and one open with wrought-iron railing. We overlooked the square and pedestrian walking avenue, so there was plenty to see. The room was large and bright, the bright glass-walled shower was pretty and the water pressure was amazing. The hotel's location was great, right in the center of all things you will want to do. Walkable streets with tons of restaurants, and bakeries. Breakfast for ten euros pares with dinner for 40. All very doable. We highly recommend the Axel Hotel, for anyone not shocked by the occasional drag queen, or queer couple.

The hotel is fantastic other than the hot tub is not hot. The people are great and the location could not be better.

Rooms clean, staff nice, lovely rooftop bar and great location, walking distance to a number of great breakfast and brunch restaurants.

Breakfast and Staff. Missed not having a luggage rack in the room as well as slippers.

Incredibly noisy. Especially that room on the second floor, where the balcony doors do not fully flush close. It is coming through it so much, especially at 1 am when garbage is collected. The shower was just weird and not really keen on this design and setup. Expensive for what it is.

Nice staff

Staff was super accommodating, rooms were very nice. I also loved the view from the balcony. Location was ideal, right in the heart of everything.
