We really enjoyed our stay. I know the hotel is older, but this adds to the charm. We were very happy with our stay.

Nice old time atmosphere but Contrexéville has seen livelier days ! The place feels a bit cavernous but the restaurant dinner was excellent despite a rather dry service from the majordome

It felt really like a special place, a great combination of modern elements (furniture in the dining room) in a classical building. We stayed for one night on our trip to the south of France and we loved it.

This is a great hotel, reasonably priced, parking is good, nice pool etc, I've stayed here 3 or 4 times heading to the south of France. Scrambled egg at breakfast would be nicer if it were real not powdered, and rooms could do with aircon. The pizza restaurant in the town by the railway bridge is also very good.

This is a GRAND hotel at cheap prices. Great facilities , warm outside pool at 05/09. Really enjoyed our stay and will use it again !

It was an 'ok' hotel. Staff looked at us rather bemused after requesting some plates at breakfast, as they'd run out at 8.00am. The following mornings request for cereal bowls received they same response. Choice was ok, but didn't feel a small basked with a handful of fruit was sufficient for 100+ guests. Request for dirty/stained towels to be replaced were greeted with a suggestion - go to reception and collect some more yourself! Room clean but sparsely decorated. If a sunbed by the pool was desired, you had to be an early bird, it would appear some guests felt an (very) early morning trip with said towel to reserve a bed was appropriate.

Beautiful hotel and the staff were very helpful.

I stayed for one night with my teenage daughter & felt extremely safe at the hotel & in the town. The rooms are basic but quiet. I have not spoken French since school & non of the staff spoke English & we muddled through until we had to order from the menu, then we had no idea what we ordered.

Hotel Cosmos heeft de sfeer, de grandeur van het verleden, met een goed restaurant. Zwembad, bar en lounge gedeelte en zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Séjour parfait. De solides prestations. La piscine est cependant squattée.

Le personnel est accueillant et bienveillant. L'accès gratuit à la piscine, hammam et sauna est un vrai plus. Nous avons bien dormi dans un grand calme. Le bâtiment a beaucoup de cachet mais mériterait un sacré coup de jeune. C'est un peu vieillot sur certains aspects (tapis usés, délavés, transats de la piscine qui ont déjà fait plusieurs saisons, etc.) La propreté de notre chambre laissait à désirer : moisissures autour de la baignoire, moquette tâchée à plusieurs endroits, sommiers sales aux emplacements des jambes des précédents clients. C'est dommage surtout qu'un écriteau dans la salle de bains vante une propreté irréprochable. Le petit déjeuner est correct mais le personnel n'est pas assez nombreux. Le réassort n'est pas assez fréquent, beaucoup de choses manquent et doivent être réclamées, les tables ne sont pas débarrassées rapidement. L'expérience globale reste plutôt bonne mais il y a plusieurs axes d'améliorations à étudier.

Bon accueil, chambre ok, mise a dispo spa, piscine chauffee, salle de fitness Flipper bilĺard... Directement accessibles. Petits dejeuner copieux. Rien a redire. Sejour a renouveler.
