nice place to stay

Nice overall. Just the AC wasn’t working in our room and it was too hot. Also the room was small for a family of 4

The hotel and room as such were fine. But there are too many drug addicts and drunks in the blocks around the hotel. The parking lot is spacious but some parts of it are used as public latrine. Very close to main shopping areas and other parts of the city center.

Place is clean and staff is polite and helpful. Close to the old town. In the evening streets did look a bit doggy.

Séjour parfait dans ce Novotel très bien entretenu (chambre impeccable, spacieuse, ultra propre). Accueil très agréable, de la réception au petit-déjeuner. Localisation très centrale et pratique (à 5mn à pied des rues avec tous les magasins principaux pour un week-end shopping ; 7mn à pied de la vieille ville ; 17mn à pied de la gare). Le petit-déjeuner était très copieux et soigné (par exemple petites cassolettes de saumon fumé, et une attention sur l'hygiène avec des vitres de protection pour se servir au buffet). Je reviendrai séjourner avec plaisir dans cet établissement et remercie tout son personnel agréable!

Very convenient for Aachen Christmas market. Super friendly staff. Clean room. Used bar both evenings and drinks were reasonable and delicious. Didn’t have breakfast as we had it on the go from fantastic bakeries and cafes in town. Aachen beautiful - you must see the cathedral!

Nice breakfast room was clean and very quite, no outside noise.

Hotel staff was amazing!! Hotel was great formour 2 night stay. Area around the hotel could clean up the junkies at nightbut thats a city problem.

We return to Novotel Aachen again and again and it keeps its high standarts.

The hotel staff was extremely rude and inconsiderate. Many essentials were missing in the room including toilet paper. When you need to ask for toilet paper then you know there is an issue. The key cards did not work and we had to ask for new keys frequently. The staff was very rude and inconsiderate; I have stayed in many hotels around the world but the lack of service and basic communication skills were missing. Consider this hotel as you last option in Aachen.

Service and location are good, but the property itself is dated. The shower cabin is too small (good for munchkins). The hotel is next to the central bus hub, which is quite convenient. The excellent Carolus Therme is within a walking distance.
