A Basic Stay with Some Challenges
The hotel serves its purpose if you only need a place to sleep. The woman at the front desk was a bit rude, but honestly, that seems to be the case with most people in Miami—they don't seem to enjoy what they do.
My toilet took about a minute to flush, and I was told it was because the pipes were very old. They tried to fix it, and it helped a little. The key cards lost their access almost daily, and I'd only realize it after getting to the third floor, forcing me to go back down to the lobby and wait in line behind people checking in.
The carpets in the hallways were dirty and old. The small pool is accessible from the outside and was always crowded. As for the TV, forget it—there was nothing interesting on the few channels available. The microwave didn't work properly, and the overall facilities are just very old. It's truly only good for sleeping and nothing more.
